The top 3 teams in the east all had better regular season records than any team in the west, but so far: - The 1st seed Bucks lost in the first round. - The 3rd seed 76ers crumbled despite having the current and a former MVP. - The 2nd seed Celtics fell behind 0-3 to the 8th seed Heat and might still lose the series. People tend to overhype teams based on regular season records, and it will probably happen in future seasons again.

I'm guessing they will keep Paul and Ayton for next season. They just need to somehow add some role players for depth and pray they are healthy come playoff time. Booker and KD took the Nuggets to the most games so far and if their team is healthier with depth, I think they will win the West and the champion next year.

Suns trading for KD was always about the following season. Even if he didn't get hurt again they wouldn't have had enough time to gel. Not to mention them losing in 6 to the Nuggets without CP3, a crumbling Ayton, a partially injured book after game 5, and a KD that hadn't gotten his full wind back is still the best fight the Nuggets have gotten.

I think the Clippers' championship window is closed. I don't think this team will ever win a championship with this group and they will never ever be in the same level as my Lakers. In addition, Kawhi cannot be trusted at this point because you can't rely on him staying healthy for much longer and I'm with Stephen A on this one.

Every time Harden is on a top 5ish team in the league, he ends things too soon. 2012 gets to the finals with okc then leaves. 18/19 goes toe to toe with the kd Warriors, then pushes cp3 out the door. 21/22 goes 18 and 3 with the nets and then leaves before the covid restrictions are lifted. This year, with the sixers, they took the Celtics, who are likely the best team in the conference to 7 games. The 76ers are probably the 2nd best team in the conference. Why leave? Maybe next year, maxey takes another step forward and becomes elite, getting them over the hump. Hardens only got a few more chances as a starter to get a ring. Those houston strip clubs will still be there in 5 years when he retires.
