I had braces in the 90s. I had an overbite, an underbite, crowding teeth, buck teeth and my wisdom teeth were pushing on my other teeth. So trust me is more to it than just molding a tray.

I remember seeing that trend where u put a corn cob on a drill, and spin it it your mouth. one girl after fust a few seconds, 5 of her top teeth were pushed foward, loosened and one fell out. Was terrible

@thebentist Hey I need help, I'm 34 and have NO teeth anymore. Even though I took care of my teeth they basically just disintegrated. I don't work because of physical issues so I have no income besides food stamps, I live with my disabled mom and take care of her. I really need help do u no of any free programs or something that can help me, anything? I've lost all confidence, gained weight because all I do is hide in my house, I have no friends because I'm always too ashamed and embarrassed to go out, talk to people and engage in life. It's humiliating when every single person I talk to just stares at my mouth. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

How are dentists so awkward lmao? Never heard of that generalisation before. If anything they should be good at communicating since a lot of their training is how to communicate and adapt to each patient's needs.

@@ajz2436 They train but that doesn’t mean they will communicate with me my dentist just asks me awkwardly “does that hurt” and then doesn’t talk at all and it is so awkward

@@ibrmk2610 But that's partially due to professionalism as a dentist. The dentist is there to help you professionally and not there to crack jokes and become friends with you. Sure, maybe some dentists you have experienced are awkward, but I don't think most dentists are awkward. The Bentist is partially like this since he's also a social influencer but I'm sure in the clinic, he's a lot more relaxed and professional.

1. It’s bleeding because you never floss and that part is very sensitive, so just keep flossing 2. Your flossing wrong. Ik it sounds weird like “how is there a wrong way to floss” but there is and 3. There are specific floss types so your probably using the thick string type. (And I like using floss picks they are so much easier to use then normal floss)

I have a mouthguard with my braces, so yes you can. My orthodontist made it so it it's only inside and on top of the teeth so it fits with the braces
