Part 2 of 2 - Brian goes over how to remove your old OEM center console lid cover and shows the steps to replace it with a Seat Shop cover that will match the original color, grain, and fit. He goes into detail on the tools and installation steps for your center console lid cover.
This video will work for most of the following GM Truck and SUV year ranges:
2014 - 2018 Chevrolet Silverado (LS, LT, LTZ, LTZ Realtree, Worktruck) - 1500 Non- 40/20/40 Seat Configuration.
2015 - 2019 Chevrolet Silverado (LS, LT, LTZ, LTZ Realtree, Worktruck) - 2500 Non - 40/20/40 Seat Configuration.

Tools: Pry Tools, Plastic Pry Tools, Impact/Drill, Phillips Head, Flathead Screwdriver, Torx 20, Torx 25, Pliers, Upholstery Staple Gun, 5/32 Staples, heat gun or blow-dryer.

I removed the stitching from the stitched corners on each side of the handle. It allows me to better and more tightly wrap those corners myself to ensure they don't interfere with the handle.

I just did the new cover on my 15 silverado heat gun works good for corners I bought a bostitch electric stapler $29 at menards worked great want able to get smaller staples than the 1/4 so what I did is double the material before stapling this worked very well as they do provide the extra material thought this might help someone else out that's doing this

Is the lid available to purchase with the cover installed on the plastic?

Hi Joseph, we only sell the console lid cover itself so it won't come with the plastic frame, etc.

I don't have the tools to do this I have a 2015 high country with no wireless charger console I'd rather just send to you and get it fixed. I have the exact same wear n tear on mine

Hi there, we would recommend you take it to a local upholstery shop where they can perform the install, plus it will be a faster turnaround and cheaper than sending us the entire cover itself.
