@@veniciocaldas1514 No, engineer Frank Holland just barely survived enough to crawl out of the wrecked SP 8278, while his brakeman Mark Edwards and 3rd headend engineer Alan Reece were killed, with the helper crew and locomotives escaping any real injury or damage. It's honestly a miracle that the train wreck itself didn't cause a fire from the 4 ruined locomotives

No not at all. 8278, 7551, 7549, 9340 and one of the helper units were all scrapped. Only 1 of the 5 units survived the wreck. Whoever told you this?

you are absolutely corrected, it was a pain doing this... it took hours of animating the physics of the crash even though gravity is hard to animate in Mine-Imator sometimes because keyframes have different lengths of speed causing not so smooth gravity.

And also, the 2nd locomotive on the front which was originally the leader was dead and couldn’t start so they borrowed on out of SP’s Mojave rail yard in Mojave, California.

And 1 other minor detail, during the cleanup, a backhoe hit the Calnev pipeline that originated from Colton and ended in Las Vegas and when it hit a spark from something blew the entire area up and burned for 2 days

What I think my reasons are, is during the making of this animation, I had to notch it down to 20 instead of 69 because that size of a number of objects in the program would've caused immense lag and could've crashed mine-imator the software I was using for this... resulting only 20 cars which is not really a mistake due to the immense size it would've taken..

Next time the animator will make it more accurate in the next crash 1994

You do have to also know that this animation I created is over a year old when I was inexperienced at animation and researching.

This video was intentionally an attempt of trying my best to see what it would look like In Minecraft animation form but not very accurately. I’ve been taking a break from KZfaq over the holidays until more content will come by until 2022.

That's been a known mistake ever since I began Minecraft Animation as this was the earliest video in the channel's history when mistakes were more apparent throughout my uploads however, If I recreated these now, It would take too much time and I would move on and recreate other stuff in Minecraft.

It's a *fantasized recreation* of the 1989 El Cajon Pass runaway.

You have to understand that this is a very old Minecraft Animation I created back when my channel was much more smaller and my animating skills were at an all time low back then in 2021 which was just a test animation on what I was capable of doing by basing it off a real life event that wasn’t suppose to be entirely accurate. I can try to remake better accurate versions of the older train disaster animations I did a while ago however, I’ve leaned away from realism into more fictional Minecraft Animations as it felt more easier as researching a real event is just exhausting to do all of the time for these animations which is why fiction felt like less of a chore which is why I have been doing Thomas & Friends recently as I will still do realism, just not very often.
