And in terms of solving cases like the kira case kokichi can do in a moment The main thing is because of his lie detection. His lie deduction was so good he uncovered Monaca's lie that she's disabled (a lie everyone fell for even the viewers in ultra despair girls) also because there is no record of monaca being able to walk. Kirumi's case was simple to solve, the game just made it so complicated because it would be boring if shuichi just said "i found a piece of black cloth on the pool, the rope behind the stair case, the tennis cable, the inner tube on the pool, and the scrapings on the windows means somebody used the ropes and cables to slide from ryoma's lab to the gym window using the inner tube to stand on and used the cloth to slow down which made a piece fall on the pool, and when they reached the gym window they put ryoma's body on the piranha tank, untied the rope on the window and accidentally dropped it on the gym, since it was nightime, the culprit couldnt retrieve anything from the pool nor retrieve the rope, then went back to ryoma's labe to untie the cables. the cloth on the pool matches kirumi's gloves, and the fact that she was out at nightime means she's most likely the culprit." And then just prove everything else and it would end in no time, the piece of cloth was the whole reason kirumi was selected as the culprit which means if kokichi saw the cloth, which he likely did since i remember during the investigation he was once at the pool. Even i could solve it, obviously not as fast, but when i played it i found out kirumi was the culprit a bit after the trial started, when miu was proven innocent. And i used pretty much the same reasoning i just told you. That one wasnt really all that difficult to solve, it just leaves the impression that its difficult, because it gives a bunch of hints towards somebody and then you find other hints that points towards somebody else, the fact that it all goes together like that leaves the impression that it was complex when it really wasnt, miu would be the other prime suspect but KOKICHI was the one that proved her innocent. Its easy to solve the trials, they arent meant to be difficult, they're meant to be complex and fun. "Why couldnt shuichi solve it so quickly if its that easy?" It would be boring, just reminding you of what i said earlier before you forget it
