The HAKO is Fixed with a Fresh Dry (moist) Sump system and we have oil pressure!
Nelson from Hartley Engineering sent us over a 2 stage Aviad scavenge pump with a custom bracket and drive arbor that is hooked up to a custom Cast aluminum sump using a bunch of Raceworks hose and fittings.
Hartley's goal is to produce some of the worlds most exotic, highest performing, and artistic engine components in a means that makes them accessible to everybody.

I like the broad perspective. I like that some weeks Al and Woody cater the show to a client or friend who is 30+ years experience in the field of customer cars and the next week Al and Woody are making Al's son a hoon wagon for mad main street cruises. The whole show is fluid. Different engines, different customers, different generation's, different reasons and bottom line different opinions and style are all welcome and included. End of the day, Woody's hair is grey and Al's everyones dad. So much love for this channel.

My favourite part of the Skid Factory is when you guys step back from the cars and advocate for people to remember to take care of themselves. Mental, and physical, well being is so easily glossed over today, but when you guys speak up it feels genuine and from the heart. Good on ya both!

Have to say one of my favorite things about you guys is your authenticity. Idk how to explain it, but your banter seems real... not over the top or fake/goofy. You guys get more done in a video than I get done in months, yet nothing seems unreasonable or Hollywood about timelines and whatnot. I've learned a lot watching your videos and appreciate it.

The best thing about the Skid Factory is the lack of BS. Al and Woody like what they like, will have a crack at most things, aren't afraid to admit they don't know something and get some help, make mistakes and use their brains (mainly Al's) to move forward. A refreshing change to most people on KZfaq and Facebook, and just a pair of genuine Aussie blokes.

Favorite part about the skid factory personally is the VK56 swap. I’m doing one myself (located in the US) and it’s a pretty uncommon swap here. It’s something I’ve fallen in love with and seeing others do it just fuels my passion for it even more!! Much love

Woody’s laugh at the end when he drops it back a gear and nails it - awesome! Geez that thing finds another leg up in the rev range. My fav thing is you two QLD fellas doing great work, but always entertaining as well. Some other car mod channels just buy boxes of gear and bolt it on. You guys (and sometimes your friends) are fabricating most of the stuff you do.

Good to see the Hako sorted. A Skid Factory victory. Love the ways you guys keep it real and aren't afraid to vary the content. I will say Al is looking very 'Dad' with the glasses and being not scared to lose the hat. The quality and depth of knowledge and the way it is presented and demonstrated puts TSF right up there for viewing satisfaction.

Best thing.... ACTUAL mechanical alterations and explanations. If AL doesn't know, he admits it and get the pro's on screen to teach him. A true mechanic is always learning.

I’m no John Smith and whilst Al does look younger and slimmer than me, it’s not my favourite thing about the skid factory. My favourite thing about the skid factory is your no bull shit approach to modifying cars. You boys are the reason why I have taken up the tools again to work on my cars. What is even better, I can see you fellas genuinely enjoying what your doing. I have a really stressful job and getting back in the shed has been a great help. So thank you.

What I Like about The Skid Factory is unlike many of the Vid's on Car building, Al knows when to admit he doesn't know everything and asks for help, this introduces us to many other knowledgeable people and the reality that none of us knows everything.

My favourite thing is how many times you guys have a second go at things. Primarily because its real, it happens on every build. No one nails things perfect first go, even with so much experience. Makes me feel better going back and finishing/changing things no matter how big they are
