I like it BUT,...like some others there is a lot to take in. If I were watching this in a room with for 4 projectors on 4 walls and could just turn my head to view each angle, that would be AWESOME! But, since I had to scan with my mouse across my computer screen, I had a little less enjoyable experience. BUT (how many BUTS have I put in this comment? Geez!) I very much appreciate you doing these videos. It is such a public service! And thanks for introducing me to Platypod. They're awesome!! Keep up the great work fellas!!!

The 360 camera is a really great idea. I can see everything. How fantastic for education. I like it. But, there is a lot to take in. Might have to watch a few times to get it all. I like the 2D insert video.

WOW. This is THE coolest tutorial I’ve seen on KZfaq PERIOD. Just so so so well done, from the main screen that stays in place to all the arrows. Just phenomenal work. Learning SO much from just being able to look around and understand the full set

Fun experiment. I would try a guided 360 tour so that it would auto pan to the relevant sections while your are explaining things. I use a program called 3d vista that you might find useful. Thanks for trying something new and being educational and inspirational.

What a great video! The 360 degree aspect is the perfect way to illustrate lighting on a set! What kind of smoke producer did you use, I can't see any mention of it in your gear list.

Since you asked for feedback......naw, the 360 isn't for me. You can't keep up with finding the right place to pan around to. There is too much going on to work well. It's a great concept but just doesn't work out good for the viewer.

I don't think this works and I think you already know the main problem because you tried to solve it: you added a big virtual screen and arrows to make the viewer go to where you want them to be. 360 is all about being free to look in any direction at any time and still not miss much, or to re-watch a scene from a different angle. It simply doesn't work for storytelling which is what you are doing here, you are telling a story of how you did this shoot, you are calling attention to different things and the viewer has to look around to find it and you already noticed that that is very hard so you tried to help them with arrows and such, wich actualyl adds to the confusion. If you want to show me something, show me, don't tell me where I can find it. It might work if you just filmed a shoot, without the instructions, just let the audience decide where they want to look at any point in time and rewind and watch again from a different angle if they missed something.
