More Gold nuggets found Gold Prospecting in NZ!

2 жыл бұрынWe are back over Gold Prospecting on New Zealand's West Coast with the Gold monster1000 and equinox800 at the site where we recently had our best trip so far with a ton of nuggets, we also brought along our mate Doon from Malborough again who has been on the channel and prospected with us in the past, and our new Equinox800 detector alongside all our standard gear (Gold rat sluice, Gold Monster1000, pans crevicing gear etc), and once again we hit some solid colour! Dissapointing at first but day 2 it started to look up a fair bit more again!

Nice work guys, crazy how the gold gets trapped in those small little cracks. Awesome 2 pickers in one spot there at the end!

Cheers, yeah it is aye! Some of those crevices the gold seems to be twice as big as the crack it’s crazy! I guess it shows the weight of gold for you. Yeah that was an epic find to end the day! Cheers

Great video! Did you happen to detect that big nugget in all metal mode? If so did it still detect it?

Thanks guys! Yep all metal mode means it dings on all targets even - targets that would normally be iron, and this nugget was coming up as a - number mostly so wouldn’t have detected unless I was in the all metal mode, does that sorta make sense? Cheers

Yeah more prospecting and looking for deposits then mining all out particularly this time, however technically any extraction of any minerals is mining and generally a lot of people will refer to it as Mining, like dad and I are like “We are off on a mining trip”, so just depends on the day, but your right definitley more prospectors then miners .
