I can't remember whether it was in this or the previous episode (I think it might've been the previous one), but someone asked you about the weirdest "handling by Lotus" projects and I immediately remembered the Bighorn. I saw one of those at the Vladivostok airport in 2020, and my thoughts were pretty much the same as Matt's (they couldn't have made it handle like an Elise, right?). Porsche as an engineering firm also had some strange collabs. You probably didn't know that they had a hand in the development of the Soviet Lada Samara in the 1980's (if my memory serves me - most of their input served to make those cars handle better). There you go.

The car spotting on Rodeo Drive is worth it even just driving down it you’ll see cool cars! Also the Whole Foods in Malibu!

Topaz E46 M3’s are notorious for clear coat failure. I’ve seen it on some other colors but mostly on the Topaz for some reason.

Fontana speedway has been closed since last years nascar race. Most of the track is already demolished and all the karts were sold off so no karting or driving there anytime soon. Unless they go forward with the half mile oval replacement that they were talking about.

Maybe ask Tyler Hoover about how he feels needing to replace the engine in his recent G-wagon purchase

Delaying a repaint is only allowing more time for prices to increase more. How long do you think you'll keep the car? Longer than a wrap will last?

I am native to San diego and Palomar mountain is very well known and honestly is getting a little too congested these days. I prefer 94/campo rd along the border, sunrise highway through mount laguna and even the road through lake Cuyamaca(both of the last two can take you into Julian). Also Banner grade from Julian heading east(downhill) is nice and Montezuma rd into Borrego springs. Can’t forget route 79 from santa ysabel all the way up into Temecula is very nice with smooth roads. Those are just a few that are off the top of my head. I can include more but won’t(my favorite is rt 74 from hemet into mountain center). Love the backroads of San Diego. Been driving them since I’ve owned an 07 s2000, then an 09 c6 z06 and currently a 2019 grand sport w/ z07 package. As you can see, I like cars that shine in the turns. Have a great day, fellas.

The considerate thing to do when you’re sick is stay home. Remember when people did that during COVID? I don’t care one way or another what people do. But there are plenty of medical studies to read about mask efficacy.

YES have Hanna review the I5N and post it at length!! I want my wife to also consider this, as her Macan GTS (which she loves) she is not loving the upkeep costs…. And may consider something new and the I5N seems similar In enough was to be something I think she would enjoy. But we don’t get the luxury of a week long test drive… my wife would take her opinion better than mine and yours.

As someone who is married to someone who doesn't notice cars I would love to see Hanna review the car.

For the Aston Martin question... from someone who has never followed the brand closely, it took me a while to realize the DB numbers were generations, not a range of models. For a while I thought it was like Mazda 2,3,6 etc. So looking at the DB 7,8,9 etc I was wondering what was the difference. "Here is the new DB12".... "WTF, another one!?!?! It looks just like the others! Is it just more powerful and high-end?". It might have been the same thing for that guy.

It’s not about getting others sick with the mask, it’s the fact that Matt couldn’t have just stayed home and done it over Zoom. But instead Matt had to make it all about himself, come in, show off the mask with the thumbnail, make horrible sounding “radio”, and the whole time he knew it would drive comments and interaction.
