This is my final EU4 1.34 video so I figured to celebrate EU4 1.35 and EU4 Domination with the new EU4 update, I'd try out of of the hardest starts in the game: EU4 Granada. In this campaign, we can form EU4 Andalusia and get an all new mission tree - it helps we're running the old missions expanded mod - Europa Expanded, a handy EU4 Mod to be sure. Lads, I don't know what to tell you, sometimes you can communicate with the divine and your king mysteriously dies and a 5/5/4 takes over your nation at a young age. To be honest you are running a mod that gives you mad bonuses. Offing a ruler isnt exactly the be all and end all on a non iron man game.

Don’t let yourself be fooled by Laith’s sob story, sure Granada might be one of the first nations he played ever but let’s be honest he is playing it just to flex his pronounciation of those arabic dynamic name provinces in Iberia (Can’t wait for him to pronounce Tulaytullah or Majrit)

Gotta play as England in the next patch but I'd also love for you to play Milan, get the fort in Saluzzo, Como and all the way to Trento, get the mission to freely upgrade your mountain forts + 1 (100 years ahead of time btw) and basically speedrun forming Italy while ignoring the massive coalition thanks to those sweet upgraded mountains forts. AI would be massive. Would love to see it.

Whenever you give Europa Expanded another spin I recommend mughals, specially Afghanistan is really fun with babur, and imperialism pre 1550 is wonderful meme.

It is day 158 since I asked you to do the challenge with Croatia in VIC 3 but in one of the videos, a good person named Andraip (Thanks for all the help) said it has a few flaws so it's time to correct them. So when you start playing as Croatia you have 15 years to get your independence, after that you cannot ally, get in a defensive pact, and you cannot be under any kind of protection and you must rival these powers as soon as possible: Austria, Russia, Serbia, Montenegro, Ottomans, and all nations from the Italian boot. You also must embargo all those nations and cannot enter their custom union nor can they enter yours. You cannot be in an alliance with any of the top 10 nations, including a defensive pact custom union, or protectorate, but you can trade with them. AI must be put on the default settings in case it isn't. If you ally let's say Portugal, and later on they get into the top 10, you must break the alliance. You also must stay monarchy all the time. Form the Danubian state with Croatia following these rules. (FYI incase I didn't make it more specific, you cannot join anybody's custom union you must always at all times have your own market)

Granada is always fun especially if you can just steamroll Iberia. That aside your new haircut looks fresh Laith and something different for sure. If you want to you could always play Ante Bellum again. My new playthrough is with the Hansa and it's looking quite good so far. Was just playing Europa expanded Cordoba. But I've stuck since in this mod for some reason France literally allies every european power and is strong. They allied Castile and it is hard to fight them without allies, Ottomans don't join the war.

you know, they should code that if a nation turns hostile to you in a war you're both fighting on the same side, they should either white peace out of it or not contribute unless directly attacked, it seems kinda weird that after you became historical rivals with morroco they would help out in your struggle for survival...

In my experience with Granada i feel like it isnt that hard, especially when you get the Ottomans on your side and somehow i got France on my side aswell. At some point i went on to conquere the New World when Iberia was fully mine and formed Andalusia.
