So I just had to re-visit AnnenMayKantereit after discovering Tom's Diner a few weeks back. I love this group and it's always a pleasure to listen to Henning but that said Parcels were doing their thing as well. I loved this version. I hope you do too.

Germany here 😊 the commercial Breakthrough to a bigger audience was definitely their Song „Pocahontas“ … Hennings Voice is so unique … these days they toured Stadiums. A complete other Henning you can discover in collaboration with Muckefukk … the Song called BLUE … only on youtube. Love it 😍 … thx for discovering german Music 🙏🏻

Great reaction to a band I discovered recently and I love very much! Their musicality, their fun, their down to the ground behavior. If you would like more into AMK I'd like to recommend: Barfuss am Klavier with Henning solo on the piano on the street, Ausgehen (the Proberaum session with little orchestra), Lass es kreisen (the live version, pretty funky) and Valerie with a british female singer, absolutely amazing. They just recently issued a song (without video) of the Britney Spears song Toxic, which is IMHO far better than the original. It's interesting how good the songwriting of this song really is when being interpreted by very talented musicians. Regards, Thomas

Hi Nicholas, liked your reaction - and yes, the Parcels (an Australian band based in Berlin btw) are a great act, and in this performance they definitely didn't allow Henning to single-handedly steal the show, as it happens ever so often in collabs like this 🙂 If you liked Tom's Diner, I highly recommend checking out Giant Rooks (if you haven't yet)! Their frontman Frederik Rabe is a very skilled and versatile vocalist, too! On a side note, AnnenMayKantereit is phonetically pronounced like UN-nen-MY-KUN-teh-rite (capitals indicating stressed syllables). So, Henning's surname is pronounced like "my" in English. It's mostly in German, but I promise that Henning does not sound like a rolling tank even when singing in his native language 😄

@@TheSomaticSinger Don't watch it then, if you make a reaction vid for it, hearing 'Live vol 1' for the first time.. Ill be on the front row watching. IMO they are the best current musicians in the world. incredible harmonics, funky sounds and fantastic instrument skills. Also, keep up the nice vids you have a great personality. 👊

Haha yes well I understand there’s a temptation to make a face to grab attention but I didn’t want to be fake - I was surprised though for sure by his voice but just not to that extent ha 😂… thanks for commenting 🙏
