Gettysburg is full of anomalies, noises, soldiers marching, singing, seeing movement in the woods. The ghost tours are pretty cool. And Williamsburg is another cool place

Don't forget about the Jennie Wade house in Gettysburg, that too is very haunted location, it's only called the Jennie Wade house because that's where she died, she never lived there, it was actually her sister's house

I was at the Jenny Wade house when the rope in front of her “body” started moving like someone was playing jump rope. This was like 20 years ago but I’ll never forget it! The largest guy in the room was so freaked out he ran over and stopped the rope.

Centralia is super easy to miss if you don't know where you are, but it's really mostly the vapors from the coal fires. Honestly, the scariest part of Centralia is the fact that the fire is unlikely to stop for several hundreds of years and will consume several towns, including several my fiance's family have homes on before it finally has no more fuel.

My husband and I made two trips to Gettysburg, both were wrought with bad vibes and arguing like we’ve never experienced about literally nothing. As a history nerd, this was always a place I’d wanted to visit but Gettysburg had an affect on me that I’ve never experienced before or since. I’m good never going again.

I lived near the area and visited it regularly. Never experienced the issues that you have. Sorry your experiences were so bad. Perhaps the 'anticipation' of something maybe set you on edge? I went ghost hunting and never met the famed ghosts, but i dont doubt others have had experiences.

I worked in the Cat and it is haunted. I remember being down in the store room and I remember walking down the hallway past the women's bathroom and nobody was in the bathroom yet the toilet flushed. In the store room a sleeve of cups just randomly fell, I was eating my salad and I felt someone or thing sat right beside me in the cafeteria when I sat down the spot was smooth while I was sitting a butt imprint was very visable had appeared out of nowhere. I played it off calmly got up and moved over to this giant table. I've heard feet running up the stairwell when no students were in the building at all, plus at the rate of speed that they were going it would've been humanly impossible to move that fast a person would break their legs or fall going up the steps.

Me and my buddies are paranormal fanatics one time on October we went up there for the night and all 6 of us we seen a shawdow disappear in the woods but a really awsome thing that i encountered was I was walking down railroad avenue and as I was walking I had a weird feeling and I heard a train whistle now remember this was at 3 am so as I stop an try to hear ive seen a light down towards westbound and as I see this light I heard a whistle and huff and puff from a steam engine from a decent distance but close enough to hear it and the light and sound disappeared I know it sounds crazy but I swear on anyone's life I knew what I saw.

I was born in Philadelphia and lived there for 52 yeards. I now live in the Poconos. I worked downtown most of my life in Philly in the historic area and the city is so horrible haunted that those who born there don't even pay attention to what we see walking around, or hear. When i was a little girl in S. Philly I saw and/or heard a few ghosts in the older house. That entire city, and state, is embedded with the spirits of all those centuries. I've encountered ghosts all over PA. We accept it as part of the history of the state.

I went to Gettysburg last month and it was interesting to say the least. Me, my sister, and my mom walked up the stairs of a crystal shop up to the second floor, I got super dizzy and nearly fell back down the stairs when I first stepped onto the second floor. We walked around the battle field and we were by one of the monuments and I swear to god I heard movements from in the forest as I was reading the monument. Sadly Little Round Top was closed when we went but we are going back over the summer.
