I’ve been on a ride along with my local PD. It was very exciting, the adrenaline would kick in and that’s because I was a passenger. Got to experience from briefing, to actual policing out in the community, to ending the shift with reports. It was Never a dull moment. Thank you for your service & stay safe! 👮🏼‍♀️

Going on a ride along with my cousin in a month. All jokes aside about it turning into a buddy cop movie. For sure dont want to be that guy. Drees nice, observe, dont touch anything. Stay in car. Cant think of much else. I will be in la during july for it. Can i at least where shorts. Like nice shorts with pockets. Docker style shorts. Not gym shorts.

My dream job is to be a police officer like my grandfather was. I am a first Responder in EMA and have 4 and a half years experience in EMA. I have been on a lot of ride alongs and love them. I normal wear my hair in a messy bun or ponytail. I spay some coco. Have gym shoes. Blue jeans. How ever I normally wear the same sweater it's a light sweater that has Blue purple and black stripes going side to side. With a black tank top. I wear that one because it covers a lot of skin and has a lot of clam blue and blue is a color for police

My brother in laws are officers while I was in the military I served in a tank battalion from Afghanistan what haunts me the most is blowing up the terrorist while in Afghanistan I was a tank driver while my high school friend fired the cannon I Saw body parts and blood flying everywhere it was very traumatic for me the reason why I'm telling you this is I told my brother in laws this and this may seem out of nowhere for you Ms Rose but have you ever shot a man when they refuse to put down a for example a firearm I'm not trying to scare you at All in fact I'm grateful for your service as a police officer 👍 my brother in laws Steven and Chris as officers would be proud for you and me.

What is your opinion on what to do with shorter woman’s hair for styling on ride alongs, in academy, and beyond? My hair is between chin and shoulders and too short to get all in a pony tail, let alone a bun. I haven’t been able to find advice on this (specifically for the academy) online and I love the length of my hair, but I don’t want to be the stand out hair down. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I spy the glossier perfume! Is it good??? Also... question. I’ve been clean and sober 5 years now. I don’t have any major criminal background other than a really stupid petty theft I got dismissed when I was in active addiction. Would I be wasting my time since I have a history of drug abuse and a minor criminal record?? I’ve been working in health insurance past 4 years and HATE my job lol.. Love the videos!

I remember taking a young person on a Ride along and before he got in the car I tell everybody that went on right along with me if you have any guns knives bazookas hand grenades please take them back to your car or go home and leave them and I just gave him a little bit of a heads up on what to do in case anything happens to get on the radio and basically try to remember the streets were on our landmarks to make a short thing about everything at this young gentleman that was trying to be an officer and when I said but I said earlier he's like oh we can use this and that I'm like now I see him pulling off his bulletproof vest he had one ankle holster gun and he had one holster on his shoulder and he took it off from his jacket so I looked at him and I told him all your prior police or what he's like no I figure that I could carry them since I was going to be with you and give you back up so I advise them to go ahead and leave and take him to his house and he could come back another day yeah whenever you going to ride along come basic clothes and if you feel you got to use a blue bulletproof vest then don't go on the right arm. Other than that if you do going to ride along enjoy it

How is it in academy when u are bleeding like crazyyy, and on duty. Have u ever had a time where u had an emergency but couldnt get out of a call, do ur coworkers understand ur needs and issues?
