this video was so helpful. im going to college soon and therefore need to decide on a career path. ive always had ideas of jobs i wanted but only recently have i begun to consider police work. I have always wanted to have a job that helps people, but this has never been a dream job of mine either. i like hearing you talk about being a cop and how you grew to rly like the work you were doing even if you dont want to do it all your life. i do have hopes of becoming a detective if i pursue law enforcement and this video has helped me understand more about how every day your work differs from the day previous. im scared but this has helped put things in perspective.

In Colorado every agency if different when it comes to the written test. Colorado doesn’t have a civil service test.

I’m going to be doing security forces in the Air Force, I got to pick any job but I want to be in law enforcement in the civilian world after my contract is over, so I’m REALLY, excited to get a little taste of what it’s like to be in that field. I’ll get to be a patrolman on base, guard the front gate, and respond to domestics and anything that might come up on base, I don’t have my ship out date yet but I’m going in June.

Hey, stef. I’m interested in joining my local sheriff’s department. My issue is that I NEED glasses to function. I’m terrified of getting into a scuffle and them being knocked off rendering me, frankly, a useless piece of shit. I also figured I’d wear contacts but, like, what if I get something sprayed in my face and they melt onto my eyeballs or something.
