It’s a not a war as much as Ukrainians defending their home from a powerful aggressor. No one knows the true casualties, but if Russians are having mobilizations to include convicts, the personnel loses massive. While Ukraine has been the main target of this disaster, Russia is the second largest victim. The military and economic costs will keep getting worse.

They have drones with mounted guns. The problem is they are huge and have to stop to fire accurately. Making them pretty easy to shoot down. Using these small drones as spotters for artillery strikes is the superior option.

A helicopter is thousands of pounds. A drone big enough to carry a handheld gun is a couple hundred. When the recoil shoves it all over the place firing is very inaccurate when moving. If you’ve ever fired a rifle you know managing the recoil is a large part of accuracy.
