Harsh weather has seen torrential flooding affect several parts of Northern Italy, as well as Switzerland and France.
Across the three countries, seven people are confirmed to have been killed by the deadly weather.
Italian firefighters have released footage of rescue operations to save tourists trapped in northern regions.

Keep cutting the rain forest down. The water in the atmosphere has to go somewhere. Pretty easy to put 2 and 2 together. We need to take control of the rain forest and stop irresponsible people from destroying it

Indeed, the water has to go somewhere ! But there is more water in the atmosphere because of higher temperatures. Clausius Clapeyron: the warmer the atmosphere, the more water it can hold ! So cutting down the trees won’t help, the ‘illnesses’ is that fossil fuels make the atmosphere warmer, because of the greenhouse effect. So stop emitting them will help actually…

Flood control canals, creeks, rivers and streams need to be dredged - To be made much deeper. If kept shallow the waters will always raise up and overflow and spill out over and into villages and cities.

Anyone check to see if anything hinky was going on at Gibidim dam in Switzerland? I mean they could have increased the flow gradually. Instead of just open the whole dam. This some French passive aggression or foreign interference at the migration problem? There are a few dams....can't tell you which one was the problem because you didn't give me a city location that got flooded. Place Moulin Dam perhaps? The Source of this water is the Tete Blanche. Any work going on up there or is it just global warming? A bunch of skiers were found dead up there in March. I'd check for someone trying to steal water. Like from India. Maybe something they were doing up there backfired.

We been doing it for centuries, often involuntarily with consequences that some call "global warming".
