Perhaps for some, his life was mostly filled with excitement, romance, holidays, successful career, doting wife and lover. Dr Cha lost so much, and more redemption for her would have felt more satisfying.

I like it's ending; different from usual climax. That what I like about k drama, engaging and slightly unpredictable. actors who perform the role of Dr cha and her husband is exceptionally great; their performance are top notch.

I think he and Dr. Cha got the worst outcomes based on how the episodes were scripted. He waited patiently and wanted that deeper connection, and we were shown lovely moments between them. She spent more than a decade without intimacy in her marriage. Some of us saw an opportunity for a relationship between the two that could have been healing for both.

I’m satisfied with the ending, doctor Cha doesn’t need a man to depend on, she has been doing that for 20 years. She has been liberated from chains of being a sacrificial lamb. She already brought her children on her own, and now all she needs to to is to make herself happy.

Dr. Roy ending was SO unexpected and thought he deserved better BUT then I realized real LOVE is sacrifice. In some ways, she cared for Dr. Roy ENOUGH to set him free in order to have a right future with a single woman who can give him kids with no baggage etc. Regardless if they have feelings for each other... the right thing to do is not waste time with a woman there's no future with.. Dr. Cha is nearing 50 and has kids and ex husband etc.. lots of baggage and has LIVED her life to the fullest ... Dr. Roy needs to start living to potential fullest by starting a family of his own with a woman who CAN and WANTS that with him 💝

❤ Yesss, Dr Roy might find a better woman than Dr Cha, but what is irritating and.ironic, this deceitful, selfish,.gree dy inconsi derate husband, he was even .glamourized with a promotion of being the youngest director in that prestigious hospital and even idolised by the martyr wife and praised to high heavens, while the good decent, kind considerate expert.sur geon DR Roy Kim was bitterly dropped without anybody recognising.his talents,.Good records,.compassion and sincerity. Whew, so frustrating, will remove this Kdrama from my list of likeable Dramas.

Only in drama-land we see our wishful thoughts about a cheater (two-timer) feeling bad bc he/she hurt wife/husband/lover. In real world cheaters or disloyal people only feel miserable for themselves bc being caught can have so many disadvantages for his/her life when their other-half is NOT a doormat. Imagine, loosing their always stand-by cleaner/cook/moneymaker and sometimes even their f**ktoy in one go ! When victims waist their kindheartedness to their betrayer, it can be a sign that in the future they are likely to choose again for this kind of betrayer.

I finally completed this series. Till the 15th episode, I hated her husband, Professor Seo, because I felt he cheated her, and the love she has for him is making her mentally exhausted, but the 16th episode made me cry, like he just wanted a chance to repay her. Kudos to Dr. Cha; she just wanted to live her life. Dr. Roy's love confession part: I badly wanted them together, but it's okay as there will be someone for him. Professor Cheo needs someone who is good. Actors like Ms. Kwak (mother-in-law), Yi Rang (daughter), Jeong Min (son) and her girlfriend So Ra, Ms. Oh (Dr. Cha mother), Eunseo (professor Cheo daughter), and all other actors did a very good job of delivering the emotions. Totally worth it ❤️

At first I thought this series is gonna be about another dysfunctional chaotic family drama. BUT I'M TELLING YOU IT IS NOT. The emotional roller-coaster ride I had, when I watched this was seriously lit. This is one of the best realistic drama I've ever watched. The character development of each characters in this drama without ignorance or dilemma is awesome.

He found his destiny eventhough not with dr. Cha. And IMHO, based on my experience of understanding my aunt (widow), starting over again on new love might take a while for divorced people. The possibility to engage in a new love story is big, but the trauma (mentally & physically) and consequences (regarding children & wealth) follow through. I have encouraged my aunt several times and she did try to getting to know some men, but not all of them passed the "safe for me" standard of her😢. I do hope for "the best" for any divorced in the world, wherever they are, tho.❤

Years later... A blended family would have been more soothing... Dr Roy and Dr Cha, pet dog and an adopted child. Half sisters come to an understanding support each other Cheating spouse and mistress (they deserve each other 😅) Personally, when I invest time to watch a drama, I want to escape and have the ending to be sweeter. I see enough disappointment in real life.

most satisfying ending..thank you writer-nim for ending it this way. many pple wanted her to end up with dr Roy . why, just because he was nice to her? anyway im happy she chose to focus on herself. i also think roy himself was a red flag with the fact that he was willing to date a married woman. if she was like the mistress n encouraged him or reciprocated his feelings they wld also have had an affair.

I am not sure if it was just about Dr Roy. It would have been nice for her to appear more of a winner, to get some good loving after giving so much of her life to a cheating spouse, being committed to her marriage while spending years sleeping alone. In marriage there is a rhythm to your relationship. I am surprised that in the script and as an educated woman, she was not more aware of that deficiency and more concerned about their sexual health. Her best friend tried to help her, but she was lack lustre and whiny. All said, most of the episodes were entertaining and the actors did well despite the holes in the script.

That husband and his mom, they are the perfect teaching material for kids and adults, do not be like them, as long as you don't do things that they did, then you will pass as a decent human being. That mom and son are horrible !

This is just a TV Serie, but like in real life you sometimes archive something bis not just for yourself, for your fanily too. If they are not there anymore, it become meaningless sometimes.

Really didn't like how it ended. Too rushed trying to tie up loose ends. Also didn't like they way they handled the relationship with Dr Roy.

I agree, poor woman deserved a comeback after years in the 'desert'. Some of us enjoyed the fact that while she lacked a sense of her worth and was just a doormat, eye candy Dr. Roy liked her so much (and to the annoyance of her cheating spouse). Even if that relationship was short, it would have been great, given the build-up. 😊

But let's get real here ......there's not a sane woman or man for that matter that would want anything to do with an ex that's not only cheated on them but it was for their entire marriage and then throw in a kid from that affair to boot🙄🙄
