I Love your channel and I’m shure you are very busy, as a Strategie gamer you might wanna look into Nobunagas Ambition:awakening it’s a true gem of TW like Strategie gaming in sengoku period of Japan. Don’t get fooled by the manga style, it’s a fully fledged hardcore Strategie game but not easy to get into. Sry for my englisch it’s not my mother language. Cheers

Honestly, if they had me pay to play this, id gladly give them 20 bucks for a basically new total war game. I cant believe CA cant get their heads together and manage to give us this same amount of passion and hardwork, only half assed mechanics and some new graphics, with terrible gameplay. Props to the devs, they really deserve the world

That's quite harsh on them. Total war warhammer is a fantastic series honestly. Getting the rights of the LOTR IP officially is where the problems really lie...

@@JenoSnetrem except that its not.. most mechanics of total war are out the window.. sieges are insanely terrible they are making the game so campaigns and fights are very fast pace and very arcady.. recent total war games are an insult to their players..

@@d.cirovic1695 Most of them are a long time ago. The main problem is just that it is really expensive to get rights to use Lord of the Rings, the kind of money that CA just doesn't have. Maybe 1 day now that Warhammer has proven that fantasy Total War is definitely something that has an audience and is something that they can make. Total War has flying units now, single entity lords and hero's, and magic (although that would be really rare of course in a LotR Total War). So sad that Warhammer is so difficult to mod, since it would be by far the best game to make a LotR mod with. But CA of course could do it. And if they could get hold of the rights to LotR, there is absolutely no doubt they would.

Question: Does the settlements design change once it has been occupied ? Can you build forts ?

@@EarthGeographicalReconoccupation doesn’t do anything. Converting the settlement main building will change the map, ONCE we make all the variations. As for forts, no, since it’s not in the base game, just the fortification stance (if I understood your question correctly).

It looks insanely good, The new mechanics for resolve/militancy ties the economic and will of the people into the campaign in such a way that doesnt really exist in other total wars. Sure, you could say war wariness is kinda similar but lets be honest it was just a negative debuff to public order. Same as religion, these mechanics sound so much more engaging and the expanding build system is exactly what you would need to manage it. Bravo, honestly this team is doing an amazing service to the total war community.

Man I'm so hiped for this... Lord of the rings are my all time favorite movies... Also is total war atilla with over 800 hours of game time my second most played Total war game in my steam library.. I can't wait to experience this myself and to take 2 weeks of vacation for it ( at least) 😅

I hope you're open to a new atmosphere, because our objective isn't to port TA to a modern engine. It's to create something new and lasting with a ton of replayability, like TA did way back when.

I of course, am envious that you got early access lol But at the same time, this campaign is still a WIP, but this already looks amazing. It is a ton of work to do this. This is what CA should be doing to be honest with you (I'm talking about last year). This is the equivalent to a major project at CA. It's just mind boggling. TW modders have saved this franchise and given it more replayability than anything else

The desolate-mechanic is so perfect for representing the vast uninhabited regions of Middle earth in the late third age

Actually the AI didn't respond well to that, so we're creating a lot of unplayable, one-province factions in order to fill the map. The first versione was extremely desolate in order to keep with the lore, but gameplay takes precedence in these cases.

We'll be focusing mainly on the two Orocarni factions comprised of two clans each, which are already in the campaign albeit copied from Erebor until we make their own assets. The Dwarves of the Blue Mountains will be in the mod, but will be unplayable.

8:07 - it feels like we have a brand new LOTR stragety game that could have been released so many years ago. And all this for FREE. FOR FREE. And to think at Attila's launch, to where Attila is now. This is the dark horse for total war, and it may prove some great mods in the future.

Thanks! Warhammer doesn’t allow modding from other intellectual properties, and Attila offers much more in terms of customization mechanics over Troy. Moreover, we’ve been on Attila from before Troy came out, moving to that would require a ton more research to unlock the campaign modding.
