THETFORD 565E porta potti not pumping water

We bought a brand new THETFORD 565E porta potti and out of the box it did not pump water when I went to flush it the first time.
I Decided to make a little video for anyone who comes across the same problem. Hopefully this helps some of you who I know will buy a brand-new fitted 565E And I wondering why it won’t pump water on the flush.

Mmm, curry. I'm guessing this has a deeper bowl than the the Campa Potti MT? Which for men that is no doubt helpful. Brings a whole new meaning to Down Under. Thank you.

Thanks so much, I have an earlier/obsolete model 92360 which was just installed on my boat by the boat dealer, the exact same crack was the issue. I used your cable tie method to re-attach and presto, all works now! Thanks so much.

Thanks. I’ve only just got round to unboxing mine after many years. I decided to try it with just water and found it not to be working just a pump noise. Your fix was fantastic. Thank you.

Thanks for sharing your solution to a shitty Christmas Day. Came across your video looking for a video on how the flush action works, could see in yours since you added the cleaner that it swirls in which is likely to work well I think. If I buy one I think I’ll open that up right away and add a cable tie before it breaks.

I bought a part Thetford 92306 Porta Potti 565E (Electric) Portable Toilet, White-Gray, 448 x 388 x 450 mm I have a problem after starting the electric pump is inefficient, could I install a manual pump instead, will it fit? If so, please provide the link of the manual pump, I want to buy it. I will ask again if the manual pump will fit in place of the electric one, thank you

The hand pump one failed on mine after 6 camp trips , I got the hand one cause I thought the battery pump wouldn’t last😂😂

Are you able to access the inside and replace that tubing with tygon tubing???

How would you like to be the moron at the factory that assembled this hose on the pump and knew full well it split and then watched their shoddy embarrassing workmanship on this KZfaq video! I spent the majority of my career in manufacturing, this kind of quality is shameful. Thank you for this video, I'll know what to do if mine does this.
