RATM weren’t angry for the sake of being angry-they addressed serious concerns LONG before they were part of the general public discourse: police violence (Killing in the Name Of which you absolutely should listen to link below), racism, indigenous rights, capitalist oligarchy, etc. Zach de la Rocha has also been very active in supporting immigrant rights and has supported activists in Arizona for years. One of my favorite bands. Thamesmen here's some TRIVIA. TOM MORELLO said while touring on Lollapalooza that he realized that there are tons of great guitarist. It was at that point that he would differentiate himself from the rest by become the DJ and he developed his UNIQUE style. 🤯✌

Loved this reaction Thamesmen. Rage brings the energy with every song. My favorite Live performance is "Bullet in your Head" from 1993 Pink pop. The Larry Hagman gaffe had me in tears. Was that Larry Holmes/Marvin Hagler combined but all the time thinking of George Foreman? Too funny! Any more Rage would be appreciated.

Hey I was there at the single throwing Reading!! I couldn't get over the fact that some poor marketing schlobs spent months planning a free single give away on the weekend they banned bottles in the arena, and they became cruise missiles, raining down on unsuspecting front rows. It was worse when people started throwing the broken ones, those fuckers cut people.

A group of Brits got sick of Simon Cowell's latest pet always having the #1 UK charting song at Christmas every year, so they organized an online movement to download RAtM's song "Killing In The Name" to bump it off. When the band heard about that, they pledged to do a free concert at Finsbury Park if it was successful. It was, hence this. Mr. Cowell was quite upset about the entire thing.
