It is a fun idea at a good price, but I am kind of sad they were all sugar or chocolate chip cookies with colored frosting drizzled on them. Seems kind of boring. Personally, I would love to try cookies from around the world. If not that, at least vary it up a bit... wafers, rolled cookies, drop cookies, sandwich cookies, etc...

traditional tourtiere is a mix of all of those meats (except I never heard it have fish in it?) we make it with beef, pork, veal, potatoes, and lots of spices, like cinnamon and nutmeg! so good

I agree with you Tim, this would probably be good to do in a group. That way you can either each have a cookie, or each have part of the cookies, so the overall sugar intake is reduced. I would probably have barfed by the end so well done Tim for completing your challenge!

We buy ONLY Fairlife milk for our house. It lasts longer (doesn't go bad as fast) and it tastes AMAZING! The chocolate is to die for!

A tourtiere is like a meat pie that people make around Christmas. Its a French Canadian tradition that my family (From northern Maine) have done my whole life. We make a lot of them and give them as gifts to friends and family, as well as eat them on Christmas day with everyone.

Tourtière is a French Canadian dish that people like to serve on holidays like Thanks Giving and Christmas, but can also be served as a regular meal. It's usually in the shape of a large pie and is served as slices. Typically the meat inside is a mix of ground porc, veel and beef. It's often accompanied by ketchup, but some prefer mustard. I've never heard of people adding mushrooms to it though... In any case, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

My wife and I did the cookie stroll the other day, we bought the cookie jar first, they are available everywhere festival merch is sold. We got 2 passports and 2 cookies at each stop. We put one cookie in the jar and shared the other one. The milk at the end is also lactose free.

A tourtiere is a classic holliday food in Québec, there's different ways to make it depending from wich region you are, i make mine with a mix of beef,pork and veal, different spices and traditionaly served with ketchup. Hope yours was as good as the one i make !!!

I wish I had seen this before my son and I went (we were there Thursday the same week you were.) It would have been fun to split the cookies and get to try them all without the tummy ache lol.
