Oogie Boogie Bash At Disney California Adventure! | Meeting Rare Disney Villains & Tons Of Candy!

In today's vlog we head into Disney California Adventure for the Oogie Boogie Bash Halloween Party! We got in a bit before the actual party started so we grab dinner at Flo’s in Cars Land. Then we head into the first of many treat trails. The trails are different here than in Florida because there are characters in most of the treat trails, we loved this idea!! We saw Oogie Boogie, Agatha, The Evil Queen, Cruella and more, it was really cool to see them talking and interacting with guests as we went through the trail! I hope we Disney World does something like this at future Halloween Parties! Then it's time to head over to watch the Frightfully Fun Parade, this was the same parade that was at the Disneyland Halloween Party in years passed but we loved it just the same. It's a shorter parade but the floats and the characters are the best!! The soundtrack is one of our favorites. We ended the night with a walk through Villains Grove, which was Disney's take on a haunted trail, it was the highlight of the night for us. I don't think it translated as well into video as it did in real life but it was seriously so amazing! We hope to see more things like this in Orlando during Halloween, we loved it! Never been to WDW (can’t wait - one day!) but this small park really does it up. So much to look at, do, eat, everyone was so happy. Fabulous party! So glad the Trackers got to go 🎃

Magic Kingdom CA is just better overall! haha But as a whole (parks/hotels/etc..) Orlando has it beat.

It’s interesting to see how much more the face character actors in California look like their characters. Maybe a bonus to having so many actors around? I do wish they would do something different for Ursula there are plenty of plus size actresses I could absolutely kill that would love to see it be a face character and not a giant plastic mask! Better yet hire an amazing drag queen to do it, since the characters based off of a drag queen anyway.

The character interactions are on a different level at Disneyland. And the decorations and parade are absolutely unreal. Disneyland definitely wins Halloween 🎃 👻

Villian’s Grove is truly spectacular. It is 100% an art installation. Beautiful and enchanting.

I used to work parades at Disneyland and the reason for the spaces between floats is to allow for our guest control partners to let guests pass between so that guests don’t have to wait until the end of the parade to cross. This has decreased the amount of people that run through the parade which is a safety risk.

The Cheshire Cat is definitely a villain as he tries to confuse Alice and get her lost in the woods! 😁 Still one of my favourite characters. Loved Jackson saying Trick or treat, he is so cute 😍😍

This video was amazing! I’m confused as to why WDW couldn’t do their Halloween better than what they did. Why doesn’t WDW have a parade or character sightings like DL? DL certainly did an amazing job! Good job to whom ever made the decision to put it together this way!

Honestly over the last few years if not longer it feels more and more like they forgot about Disney World. Start to compare the way Disneyland celebrates the holidays vs Disney World and you'll see a huge difference. While some things are better in Disney World most of the best stuff happens or goes to Disneyland and other Disney properties. Look at Disneyland's birthday celebration it was way better than Disney World's.

Disneyland also does the Nightmare Before Xmas/Haunted Mansion ride for the holidays which we don't have here either, but I wish we did.

I love that Disneyland has their holiday celebration earlier in the evening than WDW! It allows the kids to enjoy it also. And Disneyland goes ALL OUT! Shame on WDW for not topping the rest of the Disney parks.

ROTFL at the Evil Queen "You dressed your kid as a grounded bug, and you chose to wear rodent ears" - PRICELESS!!! LOVE all the characters in DL, especially the older, or more rare ones - wish there was MUCH more of hat at WDW!! GORGEOUIS horse the Headless Horseman was riding, and I love that he goes MUCH slower than at WDW there he's GONE before you can even SEE him!!! Tracker vlogs are truly the best (drug-free) medicine for reducing blood pressure and calming nerves! I just had to deal with the cable company and it wasn't pleasant!! I was in a really bad mood - I then watched this vlog and, as usual, the Trackers put a smile on my face and lightened my mood. Thanks, Tim, Jen and Jackson!! LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!

Guardians of the Galaxy: Monsters After Dark is one of the BEST things about the Oogie Boogie Bash! I would probably spend the entire night riding it and web slingers. It is so much fun! They looked like they shorted you guys on some of those spicy fries with the mango sauce! That was a small serving.

OBB is the best. Loved Oogie Boogie’s treat trail. I missed Sid and Cruella, but so awesome. The 2nd parade is much less crowded and Villains Grove and Cars Land =amazing. The characters are all perfect, but special props to the dancers in the parade and the Evil Queen at Villians Grove.

Well, he's not a villain but his yellow and red flashing eyes in the animated movie also scared me as a kid, and he kinda is spooky in the live action with those super pointy teeth. So villain no, spooky and fitting for Halloween, yes.

I went to OBB on Oct 28th with my husband and 2 year old. It was our first time and we had so much fun. I especially enjoyed mision breakout monsters after dark !
