I've been looking for this version for YEARS! I thought it was Peter Paul & Mary, but my mother had it on open-reel tape she recorded from television shows in the '60's, and I only half remembered it from some of the lyrics. I wonder if it might have been performed on Smothers Brothers or Dick Cavett, because that's where she would have been most likely to record it.

I saw the first few lines of this as a poem many years ago but I never knew until right now that it was a full-length song also. It's a really pretty song, I love Tracy's singing.

I hope they play this in the end credits whenever they eventually make “The Crooked Man” movie they shelved. Shame it’s the only Conjuring spin-off I’m interested in seeing.
