I am 71 now been a bricklayer all my life your podcast is great for the young guys showing all the stuff we were taught but sadly they were not keep it up its great.

This video just reminds me of why I wanted to become a bricklayer, to build my own home with beautiful features and to be proud to look at what I have achieved everyday and inspire my family and friends to find their passion. Some of the best examples of brickwork i have seen is from the Victorian era.

Man what a man you truly are...the love and passion can be felt through the screen. When you mentioned about your children looking back and thinking that our father built this would be a very heart felt moment for them. I take my hat off to you my friend and wish you all the success in this life and the next.

Brilliant video mate, fantastic to hear hear and see your passion! Ive recently worked on an old Co-op, built in 1900 and found that fascinating. As well as that, I'm also working on an old barn built in 1810. Converting it in a house, whilst trying to keeping all the original brickwork and stonework. Spent the weekend just gone in York, loved looking at all the old buildings and pubs and how things were done back in the day. Makes me want to put my efforts more towards restoring and maintaining these peices of history rather than the standard new builds and extensions what I do now..which are gonna only gonna be kocked down in 100 years or so.
