Another detail about John Wick and Jimmy the cop... Jimmy takes off his hat before asking John any questions... meaning he's, technically, out of uniform and, as such, asking him as a friend and not a cop.

Everyone keeps telling me Jimmy is saying “noise complaint” because he’s scared of Wick Me: Wick: “Was it a noise complaint, because of the muffled shots and breaking glass like a TV too loud?” Jimmy: “Pretty much yea, you working again?” Wick: “No, they broke in and I’m going to deal with this. No need for extra paperwork, sorry you got the call.” Jimmy: “See you around” Rough translation, based on what I’ve been told by a third party

Equilibrium is an absolutely top notch movie that nobody seems to know about for some weird reason. I mean, seriously!! "Not without incident." Then the machine flatlines as his emotions drop to zero and the insanity begins.

I loved these two vids and yes the scenes are epic. but one thing made me LOL, and even ROFL. And that was during the clip from Aliens, when Ripley says 'Stay away from her you BLEEEP' so the word bitch is bleeped in a vid where the most gratuitous violence is on display! Incredible!

Not sure if you covered this one or not, but Bruce Willis had some awesome scenes in the Fifth Element against the aliens. That one scene when he just walks around the corner and shoots their leader in the head. Or the gun fight at the theater.

It never makes these lists and I can't see why. Jet Li Unleashed, which I think was also released under the title Danny the dog, has some of the craziest fight scenes. One of the first martial arts films, after Old Boy that embraced the carnage and brutality of hand to hand fighting, mixed with the suave movements and cinematic gloss of an expert cinematic martial artist.

Jet Li was excellent, but in my opinion, Tony Jaa is the GOAT. His one take scenes are unbelievable.

Great list. Left out most of the common scenes that are on everyones lists. Mixed the old with the new. Quick summaries. Just all around great video. My only suggestion would be 13 Assassins when the ronin tells the younger samurai to k**l anyone that gets past him.

“This is why I always keep going back to the classics” same bro. You can’t beat practical effects and actors being amazing And besides, every Terminator actor has so much respect from me in T2 because they all trained so hard. Schwartzneggar put dozens of hours into training with his firearms to make sure ever movement with them was robotic. Robert Patrick CAUGHT UP with the dirtbike and had to intentionally slow down because of that. They really took dedication to their roles to a 10/10 Denzel Washington is always a treat though with Eli

I wish you had shown the complete scene with Gandalf vs. the Balrog. If you want to talk truly heroic, how many people, while falling into a bottomless chasm would angle themselves to retrieve their falling sword, then climb upon their also falling enemy to continue the fight as they fall? It was like Gandalf was saying "Get your a$$ back here! I'm not done with you yet!"

The problem I have with commando, the early like 5 Rambo movies, and any movie in the 80's who stared a big actor, Arnold/Stallone, is that they have the infinite ammo cheat code turned on. It kinda throws you out of the action.

@@frederickcoburn8393 ya. Actions nice, but when you see the springboard for stuntman to be launched off of pop up out the ground, and actors getting 3x as much ammo as they had in the last scene, only to go back to basically nothing without firing a shot the next scene, it doesn't matter how suspended my belief is, it's just horrible.

absolutely true, but when they came out we loved them anyway. later on we realized the bottomless magazine cheat and couldn't unsee it after. director john wu one said that reloading ruins the pace of the scene so he left it out of his movies. john wick has reintroduced reloading to the forefront. it depends on whom you talk to and each has his own taste.

@@user-iv8ll4ty6o true. But you could always turn the camera away for a few seconds and add the reloading sound. That way it at least gives the impression there not using cheats.

So did you not include the lobby scene from the Matrix, or ANY Matrix scenes, because you think of that trilogy as superhero movies? Clearly they're science fiction, though, yeah, Neo does pull some superhero moves. Still, with all the lead just gushing out of two vids with 25 amazing scenes in each, you could pour out a little somethin' for that one amazing shootout!

About the Jason Bourne scene: anytime you have one opponent vs several in a small, confined area, the single fighter has the advantage. The team has to restrain themselves so they don't hurt or kill each other. The lone fighter has no such restrictions. He/she can hit, kick, shoot, stab, bite, claw or whatever any body part within range without the concern of hitting a friendly.
