I’ve just emailed the MEN editor in chief to complain about luckhurst & asked for his removal as the United correspondent. I won’t hold my breath on getting anything but a generic reply, EVEN IF I get a reply. I think people missed the point about the Rasmus stuff, Goldbridge didn’t say that it wasn’t true Hojlund lacks service, that’s evident, the issue is that it is not a case of bad faith on the part of the players, but simply a case of them not being good enough. Rashford can’t cross, Garnacho can’t cross, Antony can’t cross, Wan-Bissaka can’t cross, Dalot can cross a little, Amad, I don’t really know, and Bruno waits too much to cross. So no bad intentions, just a skill issue.

Garnacho can cross he’s got some nice assists this season from putting the ball in the box but I will say his decision making need to get a bit better but that will come with time and age Ronald was very much the same at that age and no I’m not comparing them it’s just most youngsters struggle with decision making regardless of the potential.

ETH is weak. Sir Alex said if you don’t pass to RVP you don’t play. Rashford, Garnacho and Antony haven’t given Rasmus a chance all season. We have had Amad on the Bench all season without a chance despite being the most comfortable on the ball. If you watch Greenwood this year in Spain, you'd see a much more creative passing player. Spain has helped him see more of the field. Rasmus is currently at a championship level. He is young and will take time to adjust to the PL. No one should be surprised by how average he has played this year, I can't really think of a young No9 who has come from the continent and succeeded in his first year. It is definitely not a given that he will succeed but he does need time. The club do need to bring in a senior #9 for next year. Selanke would be my choice.

I don't think playing with inverted wingers is the problem. Most teams play with inverted wingers now. Inverted wingers can cross after cutting in or put in through balls and fullbacks can whip in conventional crosses anyway.

When you have a winger who can cut in, it opens up more options but since our wingers aren't good enough, are unbelievably greedy and very one dimensional, once they're are figured out, they become ineffective.

No one is forcing your channel to publicise any shows on Luckhurst articles. How does bitching about a journalist improve ETHs coaching 🤔 because that's his job to teach players on in excess of 50Ks+a week how to pass the ball to each other but he's failed hasn't he 🤔 as a coach he's brought in a young lad to head up the attack at great cost and it's not working as Hoijlund is not completed in the skills needed for one of the biggest Clubs in the World that's not the lads fault but it falls on ETHs shoulders because watching the forward line all you can do is scratch your head on the lack of a plan going forward. The more Goldbridge talks about the forwards you understand he knows very little about playing at high level and how attacking units operate. " You know a Greenwood TYPE player 😂

It's not just Højlund that doesn't get passed to. It was the same sort of thing with Donny van der Beek. Donny would get the ball, pass it, and expect to get it passed back to him, which didn't happen. So I do think it's true that certain players don't get the ball passed to them, for whatever the reason. I hate to think Garnacho is starting to act like the toxic players.

If people actually Remember Ole bought Sancho a RW and either didn’t play him or put him on the LW. Look at his mins in his first season and position. Ole Got sacked and then Rangnick preferred rashford and Elanga. ETH Came in and wanted Antony straight away. So with everything Mark is saying about how this club is run top to bottom and the toxicity. Are we surprised his mental health dropped?? His tweet said “ All I want to do is play football with a smile on my face” now look at him in a better environment at Dortmund.This whole club is lazy not just Sancho. That’s an easy scapegoat

He is because the underlying conversion rates show they have been very similar this season finishing opportunities. The difference is Haaland’s teammates supply him with opportunities much more often than Hojlund’s teammates. Actually listen to what Mark is saying.
