Hi I know this is two months late but did you practice the Hamr before doing it and if so where did you practice. I’m practicing in my back yard and I can get about 45 but I’m a bit nervous about doing it on the actual court

Omg is it okay to stop between running? If you feel like you need too? I can run 2 miles in 14 minutes but I do stop for like 5 minutes though

You can stop just as long as you finish with a passing score

So do these go into effect at boot camp as well? Yes right like recruits will now be able to choose between these alternate ones

They should because it’s 100 percent authorized.

It is not authorized in BMT unless you fail that component of the PT test three times.

So you would schedule your Diagnostic between MEPS and BMT?? And if you pass the Diagnostic do you still worry about the PT portion of BMT?

The diagnostic is for people are in the Air Force. In BMT you still have to take all 3 pt test and the last one to graduate

@@dearratate966 Okay, thank you for the clarification. Do you happen to know if the new fitness testing is an option for 1st time in Air Force and in BMT? Like the hand release push ups and the other different exercises?

@@hayleephillips7409 so from what I’m hearing the new components have not been implemented yet for BMT. The Air Force recruits page on Reddit has a lot of great info for everyone in the DEP or who are leaving basic.
