I had my first son 3 years ago but was never offered a free breast pump. I was baby shower gifted a medela breast pump which was a blessing but I did have to stay close to an outlet to pump. I'm currently close to 30 weeks pregnant and surprised Cigna is offering free breast pumps! This review was very helpful, I'm curious about these new hands free breast pumps. I think I'm going to go with this Elvie Stride.

Great video. I’m expecting in October. Thanks for helping me choose a pump covered by my insurance.

With my insurance I have to pay $50 for the stride and $374 for the Elvie upgraded cordless. Thank for the review I would deff stick with the stride.

Thank you for the info. I have a lansinoh pump and was about to buy the spectra but this one seems more more convenient and I like this new affordable version

I had a horrible experience with the Lansinoh pump! And then was gifted a spectra… worked a million times better for me.

I used a pump cleaner to disinfect and i wiped it down and was able to use it without haves to go to the sink every time. Some parts you cant use water and soap so keep that in mind.

Thank you for this comparison. So informative. :) Question for you - I've heard a lot of people saying that the original doesn't completely empty them. I've noticed that Elvie promotes Stride as Hospital strength. Do you find that Stride empties better?

Hi! Yes!!!! The stride empties me way more than the OG. The spectra/medela pumps empty empty me. The stride is still hit or miss but way better than OG.

Did you still need to the spectra electric pump along with the stride?

It’s always good to have a plug in pump because the wearables usually don’t work AS great as the plug ins.

I work from home. Do you think the vibration from the Elvie Stride would be loud enough to hear through a headset?
