Just started to dabble in pastels and it's a great medium, so forgiving and versatile (and hands on)!

I always like graphite or charcoal drawing a landscape, and then recreate it with pastel. It's a lot of fun, brings all your imagination to life in a unique way. Awesome video!

Hello, did you use a fixative over your landscape? If so, what do you recommend that doesn't change the values too much, as I find my use of fixatives darkens my painting and I'm losing my highlights. Thank you.

Seems like you could use a small waterolor brush to blend

As to prev comment, the dust is an issue for me with asthma, so I prefer mostly pencils.
