I was watching an episode of Moesha on Netflix and they featured a writer from the Harlem Renaissance. Started doing a bit of research about the era and came across this video. Am Zimbabwean and I found this video to be very educational. Thank you.

The Harlem Renaissance was so important, it was the only time in history another artistic movement was called a Renaissance.

Great video! You did great on making it, the only issue is that I found that the audio for some of the video clips was out of sync

The HR should be taught in all public high schools, after they teach you about the civil war, reconstruction, ww1, depression, ww2, the school year is almost over; they just skip right over the HR, the most iconic reformation of art and culture in American history.
