Met the owner at the Worn & Wound Wind Up fair in San Francisco last weekend. He was quite friendly and I appreciated the history of his company & grandfather’s legacy. I ordered the blue version 👍🏽

Good to see someone on KZfaq is making videos about Duckworth Prestex. I stumbled upon it online, while looking for a chronograph. Verimatic is a great looking watch. It is on my list. Also the Bolton with its porcelain dial. Good video 👍🏻

Really enjoyed that episode Damian. I met Mr Duckworth and his watches at a recent Redbar event, very impressed with the quality of materials and finish. Not sure if the case shape of this particular model is for me but will be very interested in what comes out of Duckworth Prestex worshops in the future. Once again a great example of the current plethora of amazing British watchmakers taking it to the big boys and winning .

Being a Brit I have to support any of our watch companies . I’d like to know more about what is actually made in the uk if any of it…. Miyota 90## are high beat 28,800 VpH which is nice but they are a unidirectional rotor winding so can be really nosy and spin far to fast when they are at low power. My surname is Bolton so I have to like that too. Overall a nice looking watch especially the orange but for £600 that’s in the most competitive space for a watch with so much choice that these might be a harder sell for people not in the know.

I messaged the company about the origin of the watches last year and they said the watches are designed in the UK and assembled in China, which isn't a massive red flag, but I'd need to do more research to ensure these are not drop shipped as I REALLY like the designs of these.

Another excellent video and again you have cost me money! I just phoned the company as I had a couple of questions, I was delighted that Neil Duckworth answered the phone himself! He was both extremely friendly and helpful, I’m not available receive the watch yet due to travel commitments so he will despatch the Orange Verimatic when I return and he is looking to see if he has any of the serial numbers I fancy left in stock. It’s so nice buying from small independent watch makers. Continue your great videos but stop “forcing” me to spend money! I’m just grateful Rolex are so hard to get!!!

Check out the Ingersoll Catalina also has history. Incredibly cheap keep up the great work!! Like you’re self love watches irrespective of the price .

I have #96 in blue, had it since Christmas and it's a cracking watch. The colour really pops in the sunshine, which I'd imagine stands for the orange one too.

Interesting watches. The blue one does pop - there is always something a little bit swish and swanky about an electric blue dial, I find. (Of course one could criticise the movement - but I'm sure that'd be water off a Duckworth's back....so to speak😃)

Hi Damian. Just wondering if you could answer a question. I received my blue duckworth and it is beautiful. Do you know if the 500 limited edition is per colour as in 3 or 500 per combination. There are 18 different strap and dial combos on the website. Just curious
