My daughter had Roseola. She was around 3. She had a high fever for 4-5 days. She didn’t feel good but no other symptoms. Once the fever broke she got a rash. I don’t remember when it went away but other than the high fever, that was it. Hope your sweet girl is feeling better soon!🙏🏼

I used to wait until after Thanksgiving for Christmas decs. The past two years I had my Christmas decs up by Nov. 5th. BEST decision EVER!!! We STILL enjoy Thanksgiving....and it is soooooooo nice to get the decs up early and RELAX and enjoy the season!! Don't see myself ever going back. ITs just too nice to de-stress the list of to-be-done .......ENJOY!!!!

My oldest one had that. First trip to the pediatrician she said nothing was wrong. Rash broke out, pediatrician apologized for his colleagues missed diagnosis. Named it and show me how he knew. BTW, you have very well behaved children!

I hope Maci is better. I decorated the Monday before Thanksgiving. I usually decorate the day after Thanksgiving but I just couldn't wait anymore. I love how the house looks decorated. It just so festive and gets me in the spirit of the season.

I decorated the week before Thanksgiving. There is a letter going around as to why people decorate early for Christmas and it is so true. Brings back memories of past Christmas, the older you get the more you realize the sweet memories of past Christmases. Don’t let people steal the joy you have of decorating early. They will understand if they have children. You are making sweet memories every Christmas you have with your precious children.

Check how Mackie is sleeping - no heavy blankets on tummy areas- get pinch water lines to filters. Chemical dehydration. Seen this in my step sister. Hydrate with tea cool to touch help tummy- sqiggles in process on Video. Explain why male child didn't have a Cold.

Please be careful because when my daughter was 2 she ran the same high fever for 3 days.... when she was 3 we found out the fever and damaged the nerve in her left ear and as a result is deaf in that ear, so please keep that fever down and have her hearing tested asap after she feels better.

When children have high fever I give pain reliever then 2 hours later ibuprofen and also put lucked warm wash rags around wrist, neck, under arms (armpit) and around ankles and forehead pray Maci feel better soon

We put our tree up 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. I called my niece she had all her decorations up. She has lost her husband almost 2 years ago because of COVID. So she said if it brings me joy I am doing it. So she decorated!

I have had my kids do this.Do not worry too much unless after 3 days the fever doesn't break.

I e had children who were tested with rapid strep and it was negative but came back from the culture positive. I’ve also had two of my grandchildren and one of my daughters that had Roseola. I really feel so bad for Maci. I hate seeing little ones get sick. You have beautiful children and a lovely family. I like to decorate early too. It’s a lot of work and I don’t want to have to take it all down soon after. And Christmas is my favorite holiday.

Poor Maci hope she feels better soon When my youngest gets sick and have a fever all she wants is cold blankets so we put towels and stuff like that in the freezer and alternate them and that keeps the fever down plus make my youngest more relaxed

My daughter had that when she was about 3 or 4 years old. I can’t remember how high her temp got but I was extremely concerned and called the doctor. He told me to put her in the tub in tepid water and that would bring the temperature down. It did and she felt much better. Praying for Maci to be better very soon. All your children are beautiful and Rhett looks just like his dad… he is a handsome little fellow or should I say big fellow. He is really growing. Hope you have a wonderful and blessed Christmas!

My daughter had roseolla when she was about 3. Made two trips to Dr. When she looked like she had measles the whole waiting room at Dr office cleared out and we went in first. By the time spots came she was feeling good.

She also has blue eyes and light hair. Sometimes, blue-eyed blondes can get high fevers with a simple bug they're fighting.

My oldest four kids had roseola at the age of 15 months. Same as others have said, a high fever and pretty lethargic for a few days and then once the fever broke, a rash broke out which lasted for several days as well. It is contagious but once you have had it, you can't get it again but, juat like anything else, whenever you are re-exposed, it gives your immune system a boost.

I don't think decorating for Christmas before Thanksgiving takes anything away from Thanksgiving at all! I got mine done little later than I would have liked but I finally got my tree up the night before Thanksgiving but still needs the ornaments....hopefully tomorrow. I think it's so funny how strongly opinionated people are on this topic. 😂

Rubeola is measles. Rubella is German measles. Both are contagious and that means that your other children are at risk of contracting it also. As well as any other children they have been in contact with. German measles is extremely dangerous for pregnant women, especially if they are in the early stages of their pregnancy. Praying that everything turns out well.

We are praying for baby girl….. when my youngest son was 3 years old, he did have rosiola. I don’t know if i spelled it correctly. My niece was 3 months old, and caught it. You’re a great mom, and are already on top of the fever. Just make her feel comfortable. I pray that it’s not anything more serious. But just a fair warning, it is highly contagious for small children. Hug all those littles for their praying fans! God bless you all!!!!!
