Quick side note: Kilua is adventuring around the world. But is alive. As for Gon, Ging called Gon saying there is a way to restore his Nen but it would be very dangerous and painful. But Gon never gave his answer

I mean wasn't it the gas attacks in Tokyo or Or Kyoto the inspiration for berserk? It makes me very curious to see what inspired these darker parts of hunter

A couple of corrections: The first AND second prince have nen. The 2nd princes nen is more like postmortem nen tho. Also leorio was the first to be invited to the zodiacs and he suggested kurapika.

To add to your corrections since it's more visible, only Morena of the Hei-ly is a child of Nasubi. The other two crime bosses are his illegitimate brothers.

Wait a moment, I may be misremembering. But wasn't it Leorio who joined the Zodiacs after the Election Arc, and in turn brought Kurapika onto the Zodiacs and thus into the arc? I'm not one hundred percent sure, but I think that was the actual order of events off the top of my head.

Togashi isn’t in the best health to write HxH but proceeds to develop the most convoluted 4d chess arc with almost all the characters we’ve known and 50 more characters with their own abilities and more. I’m here for it and this is my fav manga/anime but it makes me question why he puts all of this on his plate intentionally.

Some corrections. 1-Leorio was the one to recommend Kurapika to the Zodiacs. 2-Camilla was a nen user too. 3-The 3 mob bosses are not Nasubi's illegimate children, only Morena, the other 2 are half brothers of his. 4-Pariston, Ging and Beyond's crew in general are most likely not on the ship, since it's believed they will help Beyond escape in the new continent and the hunter assocciation will take a screened travel to the Dark Continent on Morel's ship. It's highly unlikely from them to be there, they are most likely going on their own ship.

The Worm Toxin wasn't the insect becoming more powerful itself, it's that the venom of the insect is as potent as the combined potency of the venom of the insects involved when the last one is left. As if it absorbed all the others, and that last insect is used to poison a weapon of some kind of meal, etc.

Firstly, great video. I love seeing more creators coming out in the HunterxHunter space! 8:05 I’m not usually THAT GUY, but I can’t gloss over that butchering of Tserriednich. It’s (ser•reed•nik) though some people will make the arguement it could be pronounced (ser•rad•nik). The “T” of the /ts/ phoneme is for all intensive purposes silent, as is the “h” at the end of the name.

I have a question. Nen is said to be VERY specific. So if they drop off at the new continent and there is a stalemate like kurapika wants, wouldn’t that mean the succession war is not over? The thing I like about nen so much is that it is hyper specific towards the goals of whoever is using it. If the goal of the kakin emperor is to stop the war on the DARK continent but the hunter association is trying to trick them into going to the NEW continent, wouldn’t that rule overtake the new one the HA is trying to enforce? Just a theory, a fan theory.

The only conditions to the war that we know is that every prince must compete and there are no ways to drop out of the war besides dying. The Hunter association wants to trick the Kakin empire into thinking they’ve gotten to the dark continent but instead they’re just in a remote island. The nen contract for the succession war has nothing to do with the arrival to the dark continent.

@@theweebcommander but from the chrollo vs hisoka fight, we learned, that nen rulings are based on the individuals definition on things, like, if a dead body counts as an inanimate object or not. so if the nenbeasts "believe" that they are on the continent, it might work. also, the rules we are told, might not be the technical rules of the war. its also possible, that the participants dont have to stay on the ship per se, but rather, they have to stay within a certain radius around the urn, or within a certain distance of each other, which basically would lead to the same result, so its just easier to say "stay on the boat"

A small detail I noticed, not sure if was pointed out. Gon can still use Nen, however, he cannot see it because of the aforementioned issue. Ging stated that Gon can still use nen, however, he must re-discover his nen. Right now, Gon is finding out what he wants to do, after having discovered this, it's likely that he will obtain his new nen ability. Feel free to correct me if I got this wrong.
