I've heard some people recommend a separate waterproof gasket between the tent fabric and the each side of stove jack parts and also to seal the parts to the tent with silicone caulking

Very cool video great idea. only thing I’d do different is the threads and nut would be inside tent I realize it’s stainless but the nut and threads being exposed to the elements I’d prefer it that way major OCD about certain things. But cool product

Do you have a video on the sewing of the velcro onto the canvas, window plastic & heat resistent material? I'd be interested in watching. What type of thread? Did you use a sewing machine (or had stitch)? How difficult the sew through canvas? etc.

Do you have to sew the velcro onto the tent? There is velcro with sticky gum on the back. Could you use that to attach to the tent, and then attach a fiberglass stovejack with velcro to the other piece that's already attached to the tent with the velcro facing out?

rubber and metal????? for a wood stove? id be trying that before installing it first. it would be a bad mess if it melted on your tent roof . also jenn ,please DO NOT LET ROYCE CHEW BRANCHES/LOGS!!!!! horses that chew on stalls/ fences end up with their whole gut lined with slivers and as im sure you know, gut lining cant break down wood fibers.. horses die from wood balled up in their stomachs. it doesnt make it out the other end. it stays in their digestive track and slowly kills them.. they colic and colic and eventually die. and small branches can get lodged in his throat sideways and cause choke. please dont let him think wood is ok to chew and play with....give him beef bones.. NOT PORK OR CHICKEN bones as they splinter also ....also par boil the bones to stop samonelia and getting him or you sick. possibly losing your first pup isnt fun... hope you have a safe wk ahead ;];];]
