As a history buff, I'm always reminded that the Allies could have done more to help Poland. The fact they survived, and are as proud as they are...nobody, and I mean _nobody,_ can tear Poland's pride from her and her people. As the Polish like to say: "Poland will not fall. Not while there is breath still in me." I wish more people had that kind of pride.

@@loverehn5151 : Not really. While Finland had fought the Winter War of 1939, Poland has always had one country or another thinking it can take Poland's land as it's own. Poland, I believe, has been the most-invaded country in Europe throughout history, being invaded more than even the Low Countries or France.

Woodstock in Poland :) I was there :) 750,000 people :) memories. From the same concert you should watch 40:1 ☺️. Btw on the 1st of August we had an anniversary of the uprising they sing about in this song :)

If you love drummer stick twirling, Sabaton's current drummer Hannes Van Dahl (who also happens to be Floor Jansen's husband) is really good and tasteful in the way he incorporates them into his playing. Check out some live shows from 2014 and later to see him.

The saddest thing is that the Allies (UK) did not invite Poles to the Victory Parade. (After the end of the war). Despite this, we fought for Great Britain, for the whole of Europe. We have suffered a lot over the centuries as a Nation and the world still does not respect us. :(

Greetings from Youngstown. Sabaton is quite entertaining and has amazing crowd interaction, I saw them in 2015, Cleveland Agora. Great show Delain, Sabaton and Nightwish. Absolutely amazing. Give 40 to 1 a listen, another Polish favorite.

I recommend watching one more song by Sabaton - Inmate 4859. About Captain Witold Pilecki. A member of the Polish resistance movement who volunteered to the German Concentration Camp. His task was to establish the truth about the camps and to write a report.

My heart goes out to the Polish, and what they have endured. They are like iron in the forge, and will not break easily. And with the pride they show, I wish more people in my country (I'm American) would be proud of our heritage, instead of always trying to tear my country down. In this way, I envy the Polish people very much, and respect them even more...

200,000 civilians and 20,000 insurgents died in the Warsaw Uprising. There was no help from the Allies, USA, UK, France, Russia. They fought for freedom, they were betrayed. Honor their memory

I am grateful to the people who make up the Sabaton band for what they do. Not only because they celebrate the heroism of my ancestors, but because they celebrate the heroism of all people in the world who fought in the war now and then. But I am a little sad that I, as a Pole, come back... WE, as a nation, cannot properly care for and promote our history and it has to be done for us musically by the Swedes and professionally by the Belarusians 😢

If you want to see a fantastic live performance check this one out! Parkway Drive - "The Void" (Live at Wacken) Also look at what the crowd does in the middle of the song. That sort of behaviour is something you only see on metal concerts! Heart warming!

They're not just great on stage. On stage Joakim demands attention. Of the stage he's really funny. It's rare that a band is as great on stage or even better than on the studio version sabaton does it perfectly.

I recommend "Night witches" (live from Leipzig, 2020), "Red Baron" (live from Berlin, 2020) and "Ghost division" (official live video, 2012 Woodstock, Poland). Other videos with footage from live shows is "Devil dogs" (official music video). It's about the U.S Marines in WW1. The footage is from the North American tour, last year I think is was. Also check out "Lion from the North" (official music video). It's about a king of the Swedish empire 🇸🇪. The footage is from the European tour, 2019/2020.

I first discovered Sabaton on Hearts of Iron 4. I thought it was just some generic metal playing in the backround. it sounded alright. It was in my very first game, I was the USA and Germany had already taken all of Western Europe. I was struggling to figure out the game mechanics, but I had all my armies in Southern England. I was setting up D-Day, when I first heard the words to Primo Victoria. The song was lining up with what I was currently doing. It was after I realized that, I minimized and started listening to all their stuff and looking it up to find out the story behind it. I really wish they were around when I was in school lol.

to this day Primo is my favorite Sabaton song.
