Some great bands came from Scotland. You should check out Hipsway, Big Country, Texas, Proclamers, Wet wet wet, Deacon Blue , Hue and Cry. So many great bands 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Simple Minds - a 'super' band that way more impressed me (and many) , more than U2. But I suggest the more powerful 'Waterfront", and the stunning "Speed Your Love to Me' cos you guys will love it.

in the 90's, i hated the 80's. I considered it cheesy. i was a snobby classic/prog rocker. Now, I miss it and appreciate it for what it was . As dark as these days have been this decade, a return 80's cheese would be perfect timing
