Literally got shot 20+ times today by 2 Panzer IVs almost point blank, even getting flanked. Managed to sit there repair and then destroy both

Sounds about right, I (in a KV-85) together with an M6 and a KV-1 lost to a Churchill today. None of us could penetrate that damn armour

@@sebastiaomendonca1477 at an angle if you put the camo bushes over the weak point at the hatches on the front it makes the thing almost impossible 😂

I was in a battle so long while using an m22 locust (yes, I do some trolling) I had the time to pull this video up and watch 3 minutes of it while taking out the barrel of the Churchill

If it has bushes in the front it is impossible to find weak spots

yeah, the green thing is a trap. Ive found after 3.7, its not trustworthy and 70% of my all green shots are non pen or shell shatters

played china t 34 (1943) and from 5 meters i could not even pen the armor of the churchill 7,it was impossible as i did not have any ap shell on me ,so yeah...i got doomed

You forgot one,the plate in between the upper and lower plates,it's an easy hit if he's not angled,especially for the mk1

I had thought about it, but I figured the angle of the plate was a little high (though not insanely high) where it would ricochet some shots. You are right, though, I should have mentioned it.

what if an enemy only shows you his butt/transmission end? can you overpen thru engine block? is it possible to ammorac from behind? And i don't even want to be within 300m of an enemy. I need something to obliterate these from 900m, but something not german becos germans are universal targets becos they are fitting the evil trope/baddies. Should i just lob derps at them with my trusty ole KV-2, and sit tight in my minute long reload time while he sits tight repairing his tracks?

This is only partly reliable. I just put about 10 rounds of Matilda 3's APCBC (89mm pen) into that frontal driver's hatch, and 3 into the side hatch of a Churchill I at point blank range and only one round penetrated.

I have been coming up against these all day...and since I am rocking heat and the tank I'm leveling doesnt have acp of any kind and only 53 mm of pen...its frustrating...

I do not play Churchhill hardly ever and looked this up to figure out why I get 1 shot frontally so often. It is because the tank design is 100% trash. A heavy tank with 1/3 of the lower front being weakspots is about the dumbest thing I ever heard of for a heavy tank. Anyone saying this is a good tank is in denial.

Aim for the sloping plate right above the gun, it should take out the crew manning the turret if not the entire crew

Did you really have to make 10 minute video about this? Wouldnt a 7 second shorts video cut it? I want this information NOW and not after the commercials and tuberchitchat. Well, shit. You made me sit down and watch it. But i want to hear british accent reviewing british tanks. And i miss the old menu with the dirt path ground instead of that cold, distant, heartless concrete tile. 8:36, thats what i wanted to hear. Avoid the front unless you got 160mm pen!
