In this video I explain my map tactics in War Thunder realistic tank battles for Berlin domination. I reccommend some key positions I use on the map Berlin and explain my map tactics. Where I go to in realistic tanks battles in War Thunder depends on if I have an utpier or a downtier match.

this guide is very needed, because spawning south is "your 100%dead" but north "ez gg" sooo THX SENSEI FOR THIS GUIDE

I’d be very interested in seeing the statistics for the map. I bet it is very lopsided. I have won games from the south, but not a ton. Each time we have won, I followed the tactics Kong just described - hightail it to A or B and just camp the point, using the hard cover. Of course, I am playing mid tier, where not all of the players are either streamers who could murder me no matter what based on skill and map knowledge alone, or noobs who bought a tank.

For defense i prefer South though as the enemy team often overpushes and gets decimated early due to the North bias of the map. But if they are any good, then yeah i get overwhelmed and not much can be done unless my own team is good.

I've started from north and had many problems with enemy snipers. It depends how bad the teams are.

I only play the "A" cap because I have no idea what to do for B or C. On A cap no matter which spawn, I go for that corner in F2/G2 and stay there or push past into A from the south just like McKong says. I nearly always get picked off trying to get behind the Reichstag. Players from south spawn always blow it when they take A cap and then push to the spawn, eventually get picked off and leave me holding A by myself. If 3 players stay in A after capture they can put sooo much pressure on C cap and even sneak to B sometimes. Excellent tutorial. Might try the water route to B in the future. Haven't done that in a long time but I've seen videos where players really command the middle from fighting out of B cap.

A is the most important cap on this map imo, it allows whatever team that has control to push massive advantages early game, for example, i recently had a match where i was north side, spawned a t14, hard rushed A, took it, moved up and had them out of spawns in 8 min. A huge mistake newer players seem to make is to push the rear of the c building as south side, which is extremely ineffective after a few kills, as north side can really just ignore you completely, push A, take B, and destroy the spawn. while i get not condoning spawn camping, if you want to win, do it, push a spawn sniping position, push the enemy spawn. Morals will drag you down. Great vid though

From the north spawn, I like to rush past the left side of the water hole and set up behind the defilade on its south east corner; that spot has pretty good protection and visuals of all three points

I almost always get south !!!!!!! I don’t even want to play when I get it I will try some things from this. It gave me some ideas

Basically all you can do is camp when you get the Southerrn side. Or try your luck brawling in the Western part of the map if your tank is good at that. Or use an SPAA behind the little mound or a building when no one else does it. So it might still yield some RP while running a booster. Another option is the camping spot McKong called the sniper hill. You will often end up being clumped up with your team and bombed because of the lack of proper cover which doesn't happen as often when you're brawling. Generally it's a good idea not to play it without a booster running but i like the challenge presented by the map design myself so i find it fun. (plus the map looks unique compared to samey maps like the usual small village/city based ones) Still it's very annoying to get it several times in a row.

If in south, just go highest map near spawn to the left and snipe everyone directly to the north. Work for me on T5 to 6. If ifeeling tactical, im gonna spawn pz tanks with smoke rounds and smoke that transition.

@@McKonggaming just make sure you get there fast, spot the enemy going on either end of mount covering their spawn, and you better had your aim pre-zeroed. i had a table with zeroing on hand so i can shot accurately and quickly. otherwise, it's elevated position that everyone might see and you got killed real fast.
