I love the vixen, its so derpy looking and has such a chill playstyle, it really rewards patient players.

When I was spading my Tu-4, this was one of the easiest planes to counter/destroy. All I had to do was turn off my engines and open the radiators to rapidly cool the engines.

Red Tops underperform so much ingame, their range should be higher and they should be all-aspect against supersonic targets. However, still a super fun and competitive plane :)

4:50 how tf did you survive that? This right there normally is your ticket back to hangar because of that giant rudder and unarmored pilot seat. I love that plane and fly her often but i never survived THAT kind of hits to the back. Either rudder or pilot, but never unscathed like here.

HopefullyF-102 and F-106 gets added with only missiles and the 106 gets an upgrade for the 6 shooter

Love the video! Informative, yet honest. Gotta say that I love the Sea Vixen, personally, as the boom and zoom tactic works best for me. Love diving out the clouds and causing sheer panic! T'is a shame it has no gun though.

I think the last time I flew it was last year's summer event. Not sure if the task was to kill bombers or to just get missile kills, but i made a preset that made my BR 7.7 in AB. So I was bullying bombers all day with this, even made a 11 kill game. Yes i got the task too.

So I just got this plane from the recent sale and this is what I’ve learned from it as a niche player 1. The vixen has very good energy retention and at the right angle you can easily maintain 650+ mph in a turn. 2. The missile are very good for side and rear aspect shots. However it’s ideal to fire them at around 2km away if your going fast, but if your going almost the same speed at your enemy, be at atleast 1.2 km away 3. The vixen does not handle damage very well, a light orange vertical stabilizer turns you into a unturnable brick so make sure to stay away from dog fights 4. This one is going to sound ratty but the vixen is very good at kill stealing but beware, from the few hours I’ve have if I’ve already been shot down 3 times by my own salty teammates Hopefully this information helps to anybody who’s looking at buying it, once you get the hang of it it’s very easy to get a average of 2-3 kills are game

Personally from my sea vixen experience I recommend using missiles at a range from 1-2.5km

Constabnt uptiers in thsi, plus the missiles dont hit too often

The only problem I have with this thing is that it's hard to shoot down choppers in ground rb. haha what a minor complaint

Think I'm going wrong cos i keep blacking out all the time, makes it virtually unplayable but hopefully this will improve😅

It's way underused and underrated because it's quite frankly ugly and looks like it would be slow and very incapable. It's really not slow and it is extremely capable

Been shot down by these things LOTS of times....bugger is, almost every time it's been a team mate. I wish I was kidding. Buy a missile only plane and try hard to kill steal from a gun fight. 🤦‍♂
