In (care) foster homes, they should be required to teach these children how to make a living & survive.

Officially I believe there are certain "requirements" but the system is so overloaded its not really enforceable

Why just in foster homes? Why not the education system too? Right from kindergarten, kids should be taught how to plant crops, harvest and take care of life stock.

They do and they also do moving on where they help them with accommodation and furniture etc these children from foster homes are given more than you can imagine!

Wow! ...they found better camping spots than me! ...and I was on a mountain bike with all the gear ...had a habit back then in my younger travelling days to cover huge mileages in any one day... - departing Brighton on one day saw me in Bournemouth that afternoon... - so I missed loads of good bits!
