I mean, the Luke nerf was so minimal in changes basically nothing, Also, Guile untouched and Deejay too. Ken got real nerfs. JP got damage nerfs at least but it does nothing to fix his braindead playstyle. For 1 balance patch a year, 4/5 of those characters are still just effectively the same.

I played a bit of Gief after the buffs, he's kind of like a guilty pleasure character, and I couldn't for the life of me do 720s even though I could do them fine in training mode. The only time I landed one was against a Deejay that tried to do a meaty DR slide or something and it actually came out accidentally. Managed to get to platinum with him, since I think it actually forced me to be more patient.

Yo Jwong, that zangief lvl 1 buff allows him to catch almost every airborne attack in the game other than Honda headbutt and tatsu's. Do with that what you will.
