Trackmania is always big pog, btw, there is another kind of Battle Royale mode in the game called Cup Of The Day, it is a random map that is released every day at 19:00 CET, so people cant practice before. It gives you a set amount of time to learn the map, and afterwards, it goes by rounds. The player with the worst time (or the once who couldn't finish the track) in each round is eliminated, so you have to balance going fast with actually being capable of finishing the round. I think it would be heavy pog and a good middle ground between this and the Track of the Day. Thanks for the content!

The most important factor in the success of BR games is that, even with zero competence (I'm not talking about NL here, to be clear) you can have some legitimate feeling of success doing nothing. A player who doesn't see anyone in Fortnite for several minutes and dies to the first opponent they meet, still finished higher than probably like 10 other players; that still fills the prescription at the "you just won a competition" dopamine dispensery for players that don't normally get that in multiplayer games. It is THAT, and not just a large playercount, that needs to be translated into a BR gamemode when making one for a new genre. They did a good job here by making teams where teammates can be carried without ever causing disadvantage to their best player.

I'm so happy he blessed us with trackmania, even if it's a one off. Trackmania and Super Mega Baseball are inadvertently associated with summer now for me, and I love it. Super fun to watch!!

the best part of this type of BR is that no one can blame you for losing... if you lose, it means everyone on your team did just as bad. So even if you have a total noob, you can't blame them for losing, because losing requires that you still sucked enough to not clear the race, completely independent of your team's performance.

This is honestly pretty sick. Water physics also kind of sick but I can see why there are meme tier too. One thing though, can you turn off ghosts? Cause they literally do not matter at all and have no use when they jump into the air constantly and only refresh every second to their actual location.

I have started playing this Trackmania today mostly because I want to try this BR mode but first I am getting at least 🥇 in every training and season map and then I am going to start the BR. I really like how each team is an animal and even the vehicle color represents that same animal. I am a free to play player so I don't have all the content, maybe I get it sometime if I stick around for long
