Two men at the centre of a controversial project on the Northern Beaches have been accused of falsely claiming to be Indigenous.
Neil Evers and Dennis Jones say they are the “traditional bloodline custodians” of the area around Lizard Rock. Nathan Moran from the Metropolitan Local Aboriginal Land Council (MLALC) alleges the pair have not officially confirmed their Aboriginal heritage.

@@blake9358 No children were ever stolen. Part Aboriginal children were left with authorities and not picked up, or handed in so they could have a better life, or removed, as they are today, due mostly to neglect and violence or because they were in moral danger. Remember that young girls were promised to old men at puberty and handed over soon after to begin wifely duties. As Lefty anthropologist W E Stanner writes in, 'White Man got no Dreaming -Essays 1938 - 1973', he talks about helping Aboriginal people by, ''making unstable families more stable, or reducing absenteeism, or giving young women real alternatives to prostitution". The latter explains how the sharp rise in part-Aboriginal people came about. It had NOTHING to do with them being raped, which nearly all mixed race people claim today.

So, it would appear that aboriginal people are so discriminated against and marginalised that people are falling over themselves in order to identify as aboriginal? That doesn't make much sense. What does make more sense is that ordinary tax payers of Australia, some of whom are aboriginal themselves, are subsidizing a grift of monumental proportions, one which no one can question without being tarred with the slur of "racist". Here's a novel approach. Treat all people of Australia equally. Then, there will be no incentive for people who are not aboriginal to claim that they are, we can all get along as human beings and stop dividing society by race (which is actually racist).

Labor’s voice lies!!!!!!!>>> The real "First People" There are plenty of places thru this email for fact checking.. use it to clarify.. The Torres Strait Islanders are a different race of unrelated people of Melanesian descent, their history goes back about 3,000 years, diverging to a mix of Papuan and Lapita people 30,000 years ago. They are a well-structured society with agriculture and productive communal industry, and warriors using bows and arrows. The aborigines never had enough smarts to copy their usage or society; they never rose above stone age weapons (National Geographic) had gardens or agriculture. Australian Aborigines were probably the tenth race of people to have lived in Australia. Aborigines are of Indian descent, sharing the same mtDNA and two basal synonymous mtDNA polymorphisms G8251A and A9156T with the M42 haplogroup, shared exclusively between (pre-Dravidian) Indian and Australian aborigines - “These particular mutations do not exist anywhere else in the world; they are shared exclusively between a few isolated ancient tribes in India and Australian aboriginals” (Quote: Prof Dr Satish Kumar). Ancient endo cast skulls have been found, strange Flat-Head skulls, others of very different ancestry from Kow Swamp, Nacurrie, Coobool Creek, Cohuna, Lake Mungo. Tasmanian Aborigines were Papuan Ulotrichi referred to by Professor Alfred Cort Haddon in his book, ‘The Races of Man’. We have photographs of the 'little people' (150 cm) of the Kuranda rainforest.

That’s not the reason!!!. I think these “white Indigenous” people are feeling more comfortable about claiming their (whatever little there is) heritage because it’s now more fashionable to own it and Indigenous people are starting to make headway becoming more prominent, educated in the professional sense and visible in society. That’s how it’s works, you don’t want to know people while they’re down and in the gutter but now it’s more acceptable. Aboriginal people would love the quality of life, the wealth, the freedom to go where whites are free to go without being discriminated and rejected and feeling unwelcome. Even standing in line at a coffee shop and the server looking right past the black person to the next white, while asking who’s next, and the black customer and white one knowing full well who that server is preferring to serve next. So don’t fking talk to me about being treated the same!!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Why would they possibly want "white man's" money for .. unless they plan on living the same lifestyles as their supposedly "colonial" oppressors? They often refer to themselves as "custodians" of the "sacred land" but the original so-called "custodians" had no "money" as such (sea shells don't count I'm afraid) before they became addicted to white man's "money". If they really wanted the land then there should be no "white colonialist" money attached to their claims. Isn't it supposedly their "sacred" duty to "manage" the land out of love for the land's sacredness that they keep reminding us of? These so-called "aboriginal" people will probably end up flogging the lot of the land off to Bill Gates! Maybe Bill Gates is the new Rainbow Serpent?

Making any law or rule based solely on race is, by its very nature RACIST. As Nelson Mandels once said,: " I detest racialism because it is a barbaric thing, whether it comes from a black man or a white man." Either "We are one" or we are not, in which case apartheid is being introduced into Australia with Federal Government support. Idiocy from our "leaders" as ALL Australians have the same "voice to parliament", it's called a VOTE.

The job you have ypu didn't work for it was given to you. Yes europeans are given jobs as soon as they leave school and are allowed the chance to build generational wealth we are not so lucky. Our land was stolen and our people were slaughtered so that europeans like you can thrive today. Laws put in place by white supremacists punished our people like we weren't allowed to own land in most states until November 1978. And the truth is over 90% of european owned businesses have never hired indigenous people. So the cycle continues of white supremacists and white privilege. All we wamt is the same advantages europeans benefit from we want to be able to send our kids to universities as well we want to be able to pay solicitors to keep our kids out of jail like europeans do we want to be able to walk down the street without police illegally searching us. Is that too much to ask that we get the same as europeans.... it is europeans hate seeing others get the same as them. Whit privilege and white supremacy needs to stop in this country.

A long time ago, I spoke at the Sacred Fire at "The Gathering of the Eagles" where there were leaders & Medicine Men from tribes all over the world. A native American taught us the meaning of the Lakota phrase "Mitákuye Oyás’iŋ" The phrase translates in English as "all my relatives," "we are all related," or "all my relations." It is a prayer of oneness and harmony with all forms of life: other people, animals, birds, insects, trees and plants, and even rocks, rivers, mountains and valleys. It reflects the world view of interconnectedness held by the Lakota people of North America. The Labor party has WASTED a s**tload of taxpayers money that could have been spent on health, education etc. I assume Albanese is doing this to distract Australians from the real issues affecting our country. If passed, the Voice would give a small group, presumably controlled by Labor, the power to hold up legislation proposed by any future Coalition Government. This would ensure that Labor would soon be returned to power. The Marxist ideology of the Labor party is not about giving a Voice to anyone. It is about entrenching itself in power, nothing more. In the spirit of the Lakota phrase "Mitákuye Oyás’iŋ" ( " We are all united"), leave the past behind and focus on the real challenges that face Australia today. One Australia for ALL Australian citizens. Don't be distracted by the fabricated narratives of politicians & reject their attempts at social engineering. Oha Mitákuye Oyás’iŋ

So this whole argument about land being stolen from aboriginal land 'occupiers' is a farce. @@techo61 Not true, they had a concept of tribal area and the fought to keep others out of their traditional lands. They also had arrangements with neighbouring mobs to share some resources, seasonally, hold corroborees, intermarry and to fight together against other invaders. So I would say they had traditional ownership of their lands. They just didn't own a block of land and live in the one place as the Europeans did. Whether native title can coexist with modern land ownership would depend on how much land and which land was taken from them, and what rights Europeans had to settle in the country. Did their native title exclude Europeans from settling in the country? It appears that Mabo and Wik decided this and since then various governments have been handing back land to the Land Councils.

I was watching a program on You Tube where this smart indigenous bloke has managed to control the royalty payments of many millions of dollars for himself and his cronies. This bloke has a helicopter at his back door so it is easy to visit one of his four wives - Has he declared this to Centrelink? If it wasn‘t true you wouldn‘t believe it! The government has failed the majority of indigenous people by knowingly allowing rorts like this to occur and the failure to repair said going‘s on. No wonder 300 thousand white people have said they are indigenous! It is lucky this is not in the Constitution as repair would not be available.

So his Chinese-Aboriginal descendants stood to become richer than 99.99% of Australian kids, and they'd still get privileged access to Parliament and Executive. Fair? Hardly. Some clarification. Are Aboriginals the same as Aboriginie's ? Next. From memory the Mabo decision was that Aboriginie's who were able to show continuous presence on the land of their ancestors were qualified to claim native title. All I ever see from the east coast are white people who are more akin to a European ancestry and many of them no doubt direct decendents from those accused by the likes of Thorpe and Burnie as being the perpetrators of the " invasion " now fighting for special treatment. How can they argue the case such people have a right to anything let alone claim they represent the Aboriginie's ? One would be forgiven if you thought the Aboriginie's are extinct but they are not. Now you end up in this situation where current " Aboriginals" with a European decent and their so called inherited right are able to sell their inheritance for profit which will invariably be spent leaving nothing for future generations. This is just a rort.

You shouldn't be recognised as an Aboriginie unless you are an Aboriginie. The ABS points out correctly there are less than 40,000 Tribesmen left, that is full blood Aboriginal. These government funded tribal communities are by far the most neglected people in Australia. The church run tribal communities fare considerably better, particularly in Western Australia. These Aboriginal activists and the virtue signalling victimhood social constructs they have created are a scam and the Tribesmen don't trust them. As a West Australian who had worked with the Tribesmen for 45 years I scoff at their fabricated claims they care about the Tribesmen. In so far as our profoundly corrupt media is concerned both left and right of the political BS they propagate, these clowns wouldn't have a God damned clue who the Tribesmen are. I don't think the majority of people on the east coast even realise the Aboriginie's have jet black skin and more, english is not their first language not least that they still hold on to their belief systems. Which I might add are not respected by this Voice scam. How can you claim respect for the culture when you state the election of office bearers will be conducted on the principal of equality when tribal Aboriginies are a patriarchal culture, women and the uninitiated have no say in their decisions and certainly not some hand bag carrying pink haired white boy living in Sydney who's only link to their Aboriginal heritage goes back a hundred years. In that case and as Aboriginie's until 1967 had no birth records their claims cannot be varified. Even here in WA we still have thousands of Tribesmen who's births are not registered. The whole deal is a power and money grab by people who are better identified with the very settlers who they themselves proclaim are the perpetrators, it's an absolute joke. By the very election processes of the Voice the Tribesmen are excluded from holding key central committee positions. It's all BS and serves to diminish the importance of these remaining Tribesmen even further making them more vulnerable to corporate control via Canberra. Disgraceful ?

NOT A GAP, AN ABBYS! Indeed the positive aspect of the Voice is the importance of dealing with and respecting traditions. This is not saying that deleting or manipulated more recent History helps in that direction. Another gap generated is the absence of Aboriginal Culture in Australian Curriculum and Education in general, and the sudden priority attached to such knowledge. Everything relating to 'First Nation' People has been orientated towards distracting. The depth of Country attachments, when mentioned or displayed in Art Galeries, is done as if there are as 'obvious' as abstract Arts! In a way it is true that repeated exposure to this type of Arts and Country lead to cliose Identity with the Land, but a minority of Citizens have these opportunities, the least of whom are city dwellers. Well felt and analysed conceptions are catching more and more dust, and it is on this blurred vision that a Referendum is based, which should not have been allowed to happen because this very old Culture is out of Legislative and Poliitical grounds Science is seen as being prioritised, but trials and errors should not take place at the expenses of any Nation. Legislation should not be based on amplifying conflicts as 'achieved globally by woke. Sociological studies referring to dysfunctions, relating to the topics mentioned here, taking place at local levels, and being let happen, would put to light if happening at National Level. There is something right about a need for further investigations, and working in depth accordingly, but the Voice goes in the opposite direction to what is mentioned. We are not talking here about 1 or 26 pages document, and 10 years of work, but a monumental amount of studies AND decades of work past, present and future are required. It has taken me 40 years to get to the conclusions I share, and this is only a very, very tiny glimpse of what is required mostly as we keep getting distracted globally and locally away from the roots of Human behaviours.

Since I was a boy, I often passed Lizard Rock going from one part of the Northern Beaches to the other by the back way. Who had the cheek to make it private land? Why was it not made public? Who asked us lifelong residents about relinquishing Crown Land to a mob claiming hereditary ownership - just like Lords and Barons and Earls in the UK.

It's going to come down to how much Aboriginal blood you have. And the Voice isn't even enacted yet. Wait until there is real money to be gained.
