I love Wesley Snapes as Blade, but Quinlan is all Blade is, plus thousands of years in the fight. If there ever was a spin-off series, that could delve into the struggles of mortality, through the ages, with some solemn perspective, this would be it. His call upon the sprung convicts to purpose was an empowering, compassionate testament to conviction, his eulogy at Setrakian' funeral was a beautiful reminder of hope in the face of loss. Invictus, the Born, Quintus, Quinlan, Borno. This character hunts the seed of Armageddon. Hell yeah, this series could be amazing. Every season another epoch, another go of the master at stryg supremacy? Fuck yeah! For years i hope for a worthy attempt at bringing Spawn to the small screen. Misery porn of the tortured hero? We love that shit, because it teaches about the value and imprtance of empathy. MORE OF THAT, please: Epic soulfucking beauty shit.

It’s crazy to think how literally everyone from the past had a British accent.
@naosch94 Жыл бұрын
The American accent didn’t exist back then unfortunately lmao and directors have to make movies/series assuming everyone has a short attention span, which they do, most people can’t be bothered to read subtitles, and if actors started speaking with accents not only would it take time to perfect/ money to get accent coaches, language Nazis would still go ham. The English accent is the best because it makes them sound more sophisticated.

The best warriors can quickly switch to the appropriate combat stance for a fight without a second thought.... Or maybe he just didn't feel like wearing armor that day... The show never did justice to this character's backstory. He was the first "Blade" the day-walker called "TheBorn." His mother was pregnant with him when she fought off the Master during an attempted murder. She fled and gave birth, only to be killed by the master. The Born then went wild until he was captured and trained in the Roman Army as a weapon. Then he dedicated his life to killing the Master, his father even though it meant his own death.
