'They chop us up' Russian soldier blasts Putin's cannon fodder strategy as Ukraine blitzes convoys

The cannon fodder strategy of the Russian army was highlighted by a contract soldier fighting in Vovchansk, who revealed that in his company of 100, only 12 of his comrades remained alive and not wounded.
In Kursk region, a Russian military convoy was hit repeatedly in a Ukrainian kamikaze drone ambush.
Aerial footage shows how the military column dispersed after the first hits but Ukrainian drones went after the military vehicles picking them off one by one in a major FPV attack.

@@martstam2016 It's not about being reckless, it's about using large numbers of poorly trained and equipped soldiers to overwhelm the enemy with superior numbers, and Russia has been doing this for centuries. It's a perfectly rational strategy (when there's plenty of men to conscript and human lives have little value to the rulers).

The problem the US faced was the sectarian violence they created by removing the oppressive minority. This is a question that has been on my mind since I saw a Russian soldier fight drone with sack of potatoes and the earliest ones showing Russian soldier threw away granade using bare hands and one that I felt sorry for Russians is which a group of soldiers were attacked with FVP drone and one of them who had injured bandaged legs lying down saw the drone first and tried to run

Current known Russian military KIAs, around 35 thousand. Russian allies KIAs, another 25 thousand. Russia is doing absolutely NOTHING to hide its casualties. They're just not openly reporting them. Current Ukraine KIAs, somewhere between 1 million and 1.7 million. Ukraine is doing everything to hide casualties, including listing them as "missing" or even outright not registering people. Washington is superhappy about getting this many Russian casualties from so few expendable assets lost.

So, if Russia was to put nuclear weapons in Canada and Mexico and Cuba, you would be just fine with that? It’s a shame people are dying in this War but it would end if Russia just stopped and departed. It really is that easy. But they’re going to get hit with a bill that will take them a century or more to pay off. Knowing that the United Kingdom only recently in 2023 paid off their Lend Lease program to the United States from World War Two. Things take time but the Russians will pay for the Reconstruction of Ukraine. And they can return ALL of the stolen items they took from Ukrainian families. These Russians are the worst behaving bunch of imbeciles I’ve ever seen. And their Crimes Against Humanity Shall Not be Forgotten until Forgiven. Their invasion tactic is a saturation attack by ground vehicles, however they seem to forget that drones are far far far cheaper than ground vehicles in a head to head clash. It's just cannon fodder on wheels.

I've got no practical military experience, but I'm not a total idiot. I'm just curious...has fixed wing and rotary aircraft become outdated as far as frontline service? It's rare that one sees any aircraft being used in these vids other than drones.
