Thailand, where it's illegal to disrespect the monarchy. Sometimes there's a good reason for people to have a disrespectful edge. Thailand had a military coup in 1991 and after protests in "Black May" they killed over 50 of the protesters, and almost 200 more 'disappeared' never to be seen again. The perpetrators given pardons by the King, and it's illegal for you to even complain about that in Thailand. They can make you disappear you if you do, and then forgive themselves. I know which country and customs I would prefer. In 2010, the "Democratic" party government in Thailand killed around anther 100 people. Because they can't tolerate disrespect, after all.
