Highes will take the best player who can improve the Habs, whether by his skill on the ice, or his value in a trade. We have to give Hughes the credit he's earned.

Tu es raison, coach. The untouchables are just as you said. I think Caufield is close to untouchable, mais with the right deal, this might be negotiable. I'm 64 and a lifelong Habs fan even though I grew up near Toronto. Pourquoi? My grandfather, an immigrant from England, hated Conn Smythe, so he became a fan of the only other Canadian team at the time. Ever since then, toute ma famille are fans of les glorieux. Hi Coach, I also think If Silayev is there at 5, I would go for him. A future first pair with Silayev and Reinbacher would be really hard to play against. But I hope we get Demidov or Lindstrom or Levshunov 🙂

Another great video Coach.. terrific prospect review for Top Five plus Wildcards.. I do not agree with Guhle as untouchable. Whereas, Reinbacher would be my suggestion as an untouchable Dman going forward. Cheers

Coach I'm good with Demidov, Lindstrom, Iginla or Silayev...and I think we'll get one of those guys. Silayev I think I said same thing in one of your Lives...forget about left/right in his case he's a unicorn type player. The others like Sennecke and Catton are good players but not top 5 picks imo.

Hi Coach! :-) I´m perfectly fine with the untouchables list... I hope the Habs can get Lindstrom somehow, I think he would be a perfect fit for the team (chemistry). If not, I kinda like the Iginla option... In my opinion even if a good defensemenoption is out there... 5th overall is a very high pick so the chances of getting a top forward for the years to come is still quite high... Cheers, Adam

i believe what he said was all things being even they would take a forward . if siliyev or that huge lhd drops to 5 . then all things are no longer created equal talentwise . imo now is not the time in the rebuild process to take risks . other teams taking lindstroms or demidovs ,will mean that some of the perhaps franchise d will drop to the habs . passing on the bpa for a perceeved need now .is not the plan imo . i like guh;ie but if they can draft a better than guhlie? you take the bpa imo . not the kk. gohabsgo

Coach, no Yakemchuk in your wildcard slot ?? Big mistake, he's right handed, big shot, silky hands, plays mean, big, hits and had 30 goals and 71 points in 66 games. He's the kind of defenseman you win cups with.

So weird that Guhle was player of the game for Canada...He was -3 and had huge turnover that led directly to tying goal for Austria.

Coach: Have you heard of the Rumor that Marc Bergevin will become Columbus new GM. Also, Rumor that Columbus likes our defenseman Wifi .. Reminder Columbus picks fourth and Montreal picks 5th in this 2024 draft. Maybe MTL & Columbus will switch draft picks and trade players on draft day. .... Question: which forwards in Columbus would Montreal be interested??

Kent Johnson 5th overall a few years ago. I think they should keep their pick trade Xhekaj to Devils for their 10th overall pick or Buffalo… I know what Xhekaj is but for the right deal you need to sacrifice to get something good With that deal Habs could select Silayev or Dickinson then a forward at 10. You can realize Habs could be active if they are willing to trade a defenseman Thanks for your comment

Disagree How to u place a dach coffee or a right D man like Mailoux....etc etc ..given the rough stuff developing in these playoffs Habs need a Jackeye..the room elevated when he is dressed...bottom line u sould extend your untouchable list...we have not had the right side D men look this great since Weber
