one of my favorite player animation details is that when a person is sprinting their character will occasionally stumble almost loosing their footing on rough terrain, and when you suppress a sprinting enemy they duck a bit trying to avoid the bullets

A detail i found out myself was that if you damage a tank enough to the point of it smoking you can hear the crew inside coughing. I can try get video proof sometime soon. The only time i hear it is over the commanders hatch, the tiger was the one i could hear the loudest.

Little detail: On several bolt-actions, you can actually see the striker snapping forward when you fire a bullet, which doesn’t actually happen in BF1.

I actually enjoyed the Destroyable flare detail. I didnt know about it at all and its actually useful to know. I'll keep my eyes out for them now. Also I would love ot see more details on vehicles and heavy weapons if there are any more.

Those melee kills are brutal

There are a lot of cool contextual melee kills. Also they are affected by the weapon as well as the direction from which you attack. My favorite one is if you're using a knife and attack from the side, your character will stab the enemy in the side, and then punch them in the face when he turns to you. So gratifying hearing that smack when you punch him 😍

I just wish the crash landings like in the trailer would happen

For the prone melee there’s also a head butt animation

in the melee animations he forgot if the enemy is facing down you kick him to turn him around and then kill him with a knife

I've only had it happen twice, but there is another cool takedown if the enemy is up against a wall, the animation had you knee the enemy in the face after slaming him against the wall

I love how I did the last tiger assignments and letters for it to bugged until bf6 comes out

This game is beautiful idc. Like the immersion and chaos is beautifully done because I can make a cool play and be happy or even just run through a sector barrage and just feel like I actually saw that in a movie. The sound, details and so much more make every action in here amazing and worth the experience.

They did add a new melee animation that I witnessed firsthand in Firestorm. If you takedown someone from behind with a knife, instead of stabbing them in the chest you thrust the knife into their back.

I remember a teddy bear in the BF2 mod Forgotten Hope 2.

I loved BF1 but the work they put into BFV is undeniable... love the attention to the small details that's what separates Battlefield from COD and great video keep em coming 👍

Flakfire: make battlefield great again

I should be able to change fire mode on the krag. On xbox if I hold Y, the krag should turn into basically the martini from bf1. Dice could give it a different damage model too. Maybe extra long range damage since that's when one would use the krag as a single shot rifle.

I like it how the handgun slide, like the 1911 and p38, don’t stay open when you are completely out of ammo. Hell, even call of duty games can nail this detail 💁‍♀️💁‍♀️💁‍♀️💁‍♀️

Shooting the spotting flare is cool. I’ve shot at it before to see but it didn’t do anything unless I missed or it’s a new thing. Also krag Jorgensen sounds like it would be the name of a developer at EA/DICE 🤣 but I know it’s a Sniper Rifle. ✌️

The only recently gave me my last tiger skin because there was a bug, it showed i collected all letter and completed all assignments as soon as the war story released last year.

I dont know if they just added this or if it was always there but, I have noticed that when your Tank if badly damaged and smoking you can hear coughing inside the vehicle, this shows that DICE acknowledges you cant use a tank with a single person, you can also hear the coughing outside the vehicle its just very muffled

HOLY CRAP!!! A Dicker Max at 1:14!!! Also known as the Fat Max, the Dicker Max was a tank destroyer that was to move into mass production but it never did. Only two prototypes were made, and since Germany was beginning to lose the war, Germany decided to use them, so they were deployed and fought on the Eastern front. They fought bravely and were good machines, but none survived out of the 2 made. The design would go on to inspire the design of the Sturer Emil, the Nashorn, partially the Ferdinand/Elefant whichever way you prefer to name it, and believe it or not, the JagdTiger. I kinda freaked out is because it's an extremely rare vehicle back into WW2, and today, it still is even though non exist to this day.

Maybe one day we can have bullet casings that don't disappear, would be cool to see places where alot of the action happens covered in casings and empty mags, dead bodies, destroyed vehicles ect

I've noticed when you fly close to the map border on narvik, the textures of the surrounding ships look very simple. Well, atleast on xbox one, I'm unsure about pc or ps4

You forgot about the lights in the hangar in firestorm when your waiting you can shoot the lights out on the ceiling but when it gets dark you can light up the lights by shooting at it. Probably an easter egg

I've been copy pasting this around because I want people to notice. I have some really freaking cool bf5 vehicle details especially for the pacific DLC. First off, the Kami landing craft in game is essentially named "god" in Japanese. The Japanese tank Chi-ha means "Thousand" and "wings/leaves/blades/thorns". On the back of each Japanese vehicle there are identification numbers for that vehicle (same with every other vehicle in the game and each vehicle skin changes that number). Some numbers actually relate to specific vehicles that did serve, though not all. The ones that do relate to a real life vehicle often have a story behind them. In Japanese the number 4 and 9 (ku and shi) are unlucky numbers. This is because they basically translate to "death" and "suffering". The only two skins for the Japanese landing crafts with 4s or 9s in their IDs are "Raw" and "Marianas". These two are basically rusted out Ka-Mi landing kraft husks. The latter skin may be a reference to the battle of the Marianas being one of the unluckiest Japanese naval battles in the war, where a majority of aircraft, navy, and cargo ships (perhapse even holding this kind of landing craft) were sunk and left to be derelect. Tl:dr, Both ka-mi skins with 4 and 9 stamped on them (unlucky numbers) have essentially been destroyed. The only sherman tank skin that has "U.S. NAVY" stamped on its side is "Tinian" which was one of the last naval landings of the pacific and largely signaled the beggining of the end for Japan. Personally I believe this standout "Navy" feature is owed to the fact most American pacific tanks likely would have been sourced through the navy. Also Tinian is the island the first two atomic bomber planes took off from to bomb Japan. On some sherman skins there are dots between the "U and S" painted on their sides, and on some there are no dots. I'm hoping this difference is a reference to a change in stencils used to identify shermans. If I recall this stencil change happened sometime in 1943. This could indicate what years of the war each tank "skin" entered service but I can't be sure because I don't have much info on this specific piece of info. If you made it this far by scrolling I hope you enjoy my little nugget of wisdom and also realize the skins in bf5 had a lot of f***ing character.

I'd like scope removal during a match. Especially for the Scout class. So a scope could be removed and Iron sights used depending on the range/situation. No.4 mk1 Lee Enfiled actually has a "ghost ring" rear iron sight that can be flipped up to used a smaller aperture sight with range increments which was standard issue. That would be a great option to have. Iron and Aperture setting.

Is the clock linked with the time on the pc/consoles clock or is it based on the time the map is on
