Thanks for having the most insightful review on this kb. Wanted a new TKL kb this weekend and viewed too many “reviews”. Most are a sea-of-same superficial. Appreciate your extra effort to actually rtfm, demo and test. Especially your videos on configuring profiles and actuation. But now seeing you go the distance to micrometer test the boards sealed the deal. Liked and subscribed. 10/10

Regarding rapid trigger and actuation... its GREAT. The actuation is working fine, the rapid trigger is working fine. If you compare it to ss, corsair, wooting rapid trigger you wont see any difference.

Thanks! I don’t have the tools to measure it. I think both are equally fast and you wouldn’t notice the difference :)

They are equal, I'm not sure if razer has an equal of the tachyon mode, but I read on a website that they're besically equal. Wooting and razer trades blows in the 1-2 milliseconds, razer is better in some, while wooting is better in some

Does it support rapid trigger? If it does then I don’t think it’s worth the money to be honest. Won’t notice a difference in everyday use.

I currently use a Keychron V1 but wanted to switch to a faster keyboard which has also analog feature. I like to keep the F rows but I heard with Mod Tap feature from wooting you could acutally use it easily but the TKL would be a safer option. Really curious what would be the better choice. I could also swap my cherry key caps to wooting.

Up to you to decide. Wooting is probably still the best on the market. But having the comfort of TKL is hard to beat. I know I’d rather have TKL but that’s subjective ;)

i would personally suggest Apex Pro TKL 2023. The price has been down recently with super fast rapid trigger.

I know what the rapid trigger is all about I've had a wooting before but the 4mm total travel is a nono for me now. gaming keyboards should have 3.6 max now...wish someone would make rapid trigger keyboard with less key travel

The travel is customizable though. Can be changed from 0.1mm to 4.0mm

They fixed the biggest issue which was deadzone at the bottom so my guess is they’re more or less the same now. Probably wooting is still king but in everyday use you wouldn’t feel the difference - we are talking couple ms here

I have the apex , wooting and razer and I’d say the v3 has done the best job at copying wooting so far it’s pretty close only difference is wooting sounds a little better

They are more or less the same. Both can do 0.1mm so no noticeable difference in everyday use.

For competitive FPS I’d definitely get the Huntsman. If you play mostly single player games then get the cheaper option :)

Razer uses optical switches, not magnetic ones, so the implementation has to be different. But the final effect is the same.

Backlight is terrible: Secondary row is not lit. Too dark. Quality of the RGB on the letters that are lit, terrible! My 7 year old Logitech G810 did it so much better. I consider it using despite it having broken switches and owning the 75% Huntsman TE. I do like the rapid trigger/laser switches. It feels more responsive and adds more typos. :D

it’s an ok keyboard, but extremely expensive for the lack of service you get. Vol switch stops working correctly, so it must be a cheap knock off, because a good vol switch don’t mess up this fast. Razer would not swop it for another cheap knock off, so this is the last razer item I shall purchase. For my other pc i purchased an AUKEY keyboard & for the price, it’s fantastic. The other good selling point for this keyboard, it don’t come with a load of BS software to run it either. Expensive is not always best.😠

I bought the Logitech G Pro X, have that keyboard one day and gave it back. The Blue Clicky switches are too loud. Now I use the Huntsman V2 TKL with the Red Opticals -- is OK@@leizerg
