TBH for 130 USD, that keyboard is very solid for advanced/pro class gamers. Fast durable switches, USB C, PBT keycaps, non-gamerish font, customisable keycaps and a non astronomic price point; that would be a top choice for gamers. Razer is stepping up thier game. Edit: How did It get that many likes? Guess I was right!

I went ahead and got myself the Razer Huntsman TE - all I can say is - money well spent - Very impressive keyboard - ticks many boxes that are left empty by other makers . it's a little bit tricky to get used to typing accurately in the beginning because of the instant actuation but after a few hours it all falls into place. Personally - I have been using a normal full sized keyboard for years and to anyone out there that doesn't really need the numpad - you really need to check out a TKL - the freedom and extra space is something you cannot give up once you've experienced it . Everything in this video regarding the huntsman is true - without bias - I have to say that it's " The Best " overall keyboard I've ever used to date - Bar none - I'm hoping to get myself a custom Ramaworks Kuyo or maybe a keycult No 1 Rev 1 at some future date but to this day - the huntsman TE tops everything else - and that includes - Corsair Rapidfire , Razer blackwidow Elite - yellow switches , Vortex Race 3 etc ..... too many other keyboards to mention Final word - if you're on the fence for a great all rounder and magical gaming keyboard - the huntsman TE delivers in truckloads !!

I have the huntsman te and needless to say, I'm so glad I got this over the hyperx alloy. I wanted a mechanical keyboard because of the satisfying *click* sound but the optical switches not only sound just as good, but are amazing for response time, plus the usb type c cable makes good for response time as well, so I'm glad they didn't just go for a generic usb cable. Also I was also thinking about maybe getting a 60 percent, but I like the TKL layout with the arrow keys and function keys.

Honestly a solid keyboard. I don't usually go out my way to leave reviews but damn, I'm, in love with the look, feel and portability of this bad boy. I was unsure of the purchase because I heard that people were having troubles typing on the buttery smooth linear keys. But I've gotten the hang of it and now prefer them over CHERRY MX BROWNS. The sturdy doubleshot PBT keycaps as well as the stabilisers add on to the overall feel of the keyboard. 10/10 would recommend.

would be nice if they made a huntsman elite but with these new switches.

One thing to note for people considering this keyboard, the linear switch option has a super light actuation force and super short actuation distance. That means it will be very fast but easy to accidentally hit a key. It took me about 2 and a half weeks to stop accidentally pressing keys while playing games.

The mini was out so I grabbed this and I love it with the reds. Such a good keyboard and honestly I think I'll need the extra bit of keys.

Wish they had the clickier purple switches on this TKL version but I'll try out these red ones.

Damn, I saw this on sale for $50 somewhere and picked it up because I was looking for a new keyboard. Had no clue it was this good of a keyboard. I upgraded literally everything in my setup, mouse, monitor, GPU upgrade, and even a better desk. All I needed was a keyboard, I am now realizing how important the keyboard is.

Found one of these buried at Walmart 3 min before close all on its own with green keycaps and opto-red switches, But when I saw they also had linear switches I flipped out I'd looked for this board for a while for a price I could do and it just never happened. About to do some Gaming and see How it goes. Your switches are pretty loud mine is quite a bit quieter

Is it possible to lube the switches to maybe quiet them down a little? And can you do the band-aid mod on the stabs?

I happen to have the Huntsman TE sample "Maya" - seems the switches are not 40g but 45g +- as I have barely any issues resting my fingers on the keycaps (there's a bit of resistance at the top)
